I think it is a surprisingly balanced and understanding take on the situation. Often you have reporters come in from outside of a hobby and entirely misrepresent it or sensationalize their story, but this article does seem to be laying out what the whole community discussion over the past month or two has been about. On the other hand-- anyone who has been paying attention on these or any other D&D forums already knows everything that is contained in this story, so it really feels like it is more for outsiders.

This article made mention of people playing D&D in prison. There was a documentary being kickstarted a few years ago about this. I didn't follow it and haven't heard anything about it since. Anyone know whatever became of it, whether it was made and where to find it. I did a brief google search but I couldn't find it and don't remember what it was called.

EDIT: Looks like the Kickstarter never reached its goal.
