Wish or direct intervention of a archfiend/deityWould you mind telling us which product, HeavyG?
Oh, and I would think that spending an extended time in the presence of fiends would mkae one Fiendish, not a Half-Fiend.
Wish or direct intervention to find an old thread? That seems a bit extreme! Oh, wait, you were talking about the OP from 19 years ago and a different edition. Never mind.Wish or direct intervention of a archfiend/deity
More likely it came up during a search. It could be that the forums aren't churning out new threads each day, so scrolling through the list a little bit brought OP to one they're interested in replying to.
Maybe just a warning pop-up "The conversation you are replying to has had no activity in [X] years. Are you certain you wish to call it back from the eternal purgatory of the message archives?"I think that shading all posts from before 2015 might reduce the number these necros we see.
To be fair, if rules have not changed on an issue, then Necromancy is the better way to do things. It keeps things tidy for people off-site trying to find information.Maybe just a warning pop-up "The conversation you are replying to has had no activity in [X] years. The consternation about thread necromancy is something I don't understand. It's completely okay for someone to not understand something that happened more than 5 minutes ago! Replying to an existing topic with existing answers is far tidier than opening up a brand new thread. To be fair, if rules have not changed on an issue, then Necromancy is the better way to do things.
