Hey Tormyr,

Just wanted to check in and see how things are progressing for the final chapter! Excited to see it.
It's been a long road. The Beating of the Aquiline Heart has roughly twice the content of Under the Eye of the Tempest in terms of encounters, at least by my gut feeling (I didn't count). There are tons of monsters, tactics that needed to be changed because of changes to spells, and more. Most significantly, wading through tons of minions does not work as well in 5e's bounded accuracy and would case combat to drag on too long. The encounters have been made more focused, with fewer minions and getting the heroes to the battles where they are most needed with the explanation being that the rest of the army is making a hole for the heroes to head through. Many of the encounters in the first wave of the battles in the Opaline Wastes also feature the allies the heroes have met along the way rather than having them be optional requests for aid.

Also, Roll20 has been pushing their update to their new lighting system and getting the third-party publishers to update their content. This has created a lot of extra unpaid work on my end and kept me from working on new projects.

I've been loving your work so far on the conversion to 5th edition! Everything you've done so far is really impressive, do you have a general timeframe for when the final adventure might be released?

Thanks for the kind words. :) The Roll20 stuff needs to be wrapped up first. Then this goes out to the people who make sure I don't make dumb mistakes. I am guessing that it will be out nearer to the end of June.

I will echo the kudos on the 5e update, great job! My gaming group is really enjoying the campaign (currently at the Monastery).

I have a quick question on Aurus. We use character and monster talents (great 3rd party products from Dragonix) in our game and the amount of talents each monster has is based on CR. Aurus is listed as CR 5 which I think is a misprint as Aurus has a +4 proficiency bonus, which would put Aurus between CR 9 to 12. I am curious to know Aurus' actual CR, if it is not too much trouble.

His CR should be 10.

Also, you can keep up with changes in the errata document, which includes the following:
Aurus has +10 to hit and does 4d6 + 6 bludgeoning damage with Kiano. He has +9 to hit with his Gore attack.
