Yeah I know some folks that appreciate both but I never got into wrestling. But cross promotion is a good thing.

It would be interesting to know what table top gamers other hobbies interests in. I feel like a long time ago WOTC did a survey on this, but maybe I am wrong.

Xavier Woods is a D&D Nerd and has been for a VERY Long Time. He talks D&D on Wrestling Podcasts. So do many other wrestlers. To the point where MJF, one of AEW's best Heels, took to Twitter a few years ago to taunt D&D Nerds and even got up in Matt Mercer's Twitter to Heel it up.

Xavier Woods appeared at a number of the PAX Unplugged I attended, and three years ago all four of the wrestlers in this panel appeared to chat about a live play D&D game that they streamed for a time. Ember Moon is also pretty big into RPGs in general and D&D specifically.

I think the Big Show plays in Joe Manganiello's home game. I know he was in the Jocks Machina one-shot a few years ago.

Aabria is doing Critical Role, Dimension 20, and D&D Live. It's her year!

Xavier Woods and Ember Moon are I'd expect.

My Fighter uses Ember Moon's Eclipse as a common attack. 'Cept his shoulder has a metal pad on it.

As a DM I have always found the over the top characters and dialogue to be useful for NPC's (and shy players). Back in 4e, watching any of the Rock's matches solved any difficulties with Come and Get It (seriously, I think he used that every match for 5 years, and no magic involved) and any of Hulk Hogan's pre-NwO matches solved any issues with Second Wind (I didn't recommend any Undertaker matches, since magic was implied).

Eventually, I wanna run a D&D Campaign that is populated entirely by Professional Wrestlers.

EVERY line is over the top. The Heels and the Faces are clearly visible. And you get to DDT Tiamat through a table.

It'd be epic.
