D&D 5E Official "Domains of Delight" product released on the DMsGuild

A bit disappointing. I wish that it went more in-depth and actually listed different Domains of Delight, like Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft. Just some statted out Archfey would be nice. I'm not sure if I'm going to get this, but I might. Hopefully they do make a full book version at some point.
That's pretty much my thought too. While it's really helpful to have guidelines to create Domains, it would have been nice to have some details on existing ones as well as some stat blocks, not just for some Archfey, but also some further fey creatures that haven't been updated to 5e yet.

Definitely very frustrating that there are still essentially no stats for Archfey in 5e (there's one in Candlekeep Mysteries, I think that's it). Kobold Press' Tome of Beasts thankfully steps up there, with I think 5 Archfey-level statblocks, but its still frustrating I need to turn to 3rd-parties to get that material.

Giving the "creating a domain of delight" tables a try...

--------------------------------------------------------------
Geographical Feature (5): A complex of caves connected by passageways formed by Fey magic to create grand galleries and soaring vaults.

Domain Theme (1): Adversarial. Adversarial personalities are common here, even among the local wildlife. Animated trees swat at passersby, sentient flowers scoff and sneer, and local Fey are grumpy and uncooperative.

Fey Crossing (5): Mushroom Circle. This fey crossing appears as a circle of mushrooms. The size of the mushrooms and the width of the circle can vary, but activating the fey crossing requires that a particular act be performed inside it or a particular object or creature be present.

Shortcut Routine / Navigation Trick Known by Locals (3): Eating a mushroom while gazing at one’s own reflection in a clear pool or stream of water.

Domain Drama (5): The vegetation is sick in part of the domain, and the contagion is spreading. The domain’s archfey needs help finding the cause of the sickness.

Weird Magic (5): Harmless fireflies gather and flit around one character in the region, sharing that character’s space for 1 hour. The fireflies generate bright light out to a range of 10 feet and dim light for an additional 10 feet. While surrounded by the fireflies, the character feels a profound sense of purpose and gains the benefit of the bless spell.

The Wending Briar is what has become of the Badger Lord Brightstripe's realm after briar-blight has been spreading through the once homey tunnels. Glistening black leaves sprout between rocks, twine around lounge chairs, and swallow old bookshelves, subtly twisting and reaching out toward any light sources. Sensing the spreading sickness the campestri, myconids, and other semi-intelligent fungus in the Wending Briar have become sullen and surly. Brightstripe uses his magical star-flies to distract and channel the briar-blight, but it is only a stop-gap measure, and eventually the source of the briar-blight needs to be found. The Badger Lord suspects the fomorian blight druids of Mag Tureah are responsible. Once, the Wending Briar connected several of the Material Plane worlds where the Badger Lord visited his dwarvish and gnomish friends to share mushroom ale and long thoughtful conversations over pipeweed; these were pool-portals ringed by mushrooms that required eating the right mushroom to pass through, causing them to glow opalescent blue. Most of the pool-portals are now overgrown by the briar-blight (use razorvine when it's dormant and assassin vine when it becomes hostile around light or plant-life).

Rolled up one as well last night, forgot the results but here's my write-up. Archfey only, haven't thought much about the domain of delight.

the Prince by Solstice / Queen by Equinox
Also known as the the Midsummer Prince, the Prince Hibernal, the Faraway Lover, & the Wish Made Moonless

When the Summer Solstice comes, so does the Midsummer Prince. His laughs boom through the wealds, puts foam on the crests of waves. Boars find themselves driven mad and their bodies grow thrice the size and then thrice again by rage. The lust of wanderers young for story and challenge ignites. The Midsummer Prince comes out amongst them, amongst all the fervor of his reign, naked, bronze of skin, hair black and curly and short and adorned with trinkets gold and silver just as his biceps and fingers and thighs and ankles are too. He runs naked through the world, wrestling monstrosities, laughing, grabbing dragons by the horns and driving them into the mountain sides, living, smiling, his fists laden with wishes, with emotions extreme, and all that hear the Midsummer Prince's laugh-song can't help but join and in turn can't help but riot across the world.

So comes the autumnal equinox, and so the Midsummer Prince returns to sleeping in his distant and warbling realm. Boars shrink; sense returns to those who have lost it. The sun moves further away. The Midsummer Princes dreams midsummer dreams and the She in He steps free on this vernal day and here stands the Queen by Equinox.

She is phantasmagoricly robed in black and silver with skin made from the shadow between Earth and Sun and to stand by her side is to feel as if you stand far, far away. She looks with eyes moon-black and moon-white over her domain and leaves it for planes unfettered; for the Shadowfell, the Abyss, kingdoms rotten, orphanages downtrodden. The Midsummer Prince dreams his midsummer dreams and here she wanders with a hand that knows all that it touches and the power to grant wishes with a kiss and in a way absent with eyes that stare through dream and flesh and soul they witness the greater world, becomes reclusive, hide and study and upon the faintest touch of moonless nightlight she sews new desires into the hearts of man and beast and plant so that when she wakes, she may play with them, know them, and again feel close to the world.

So comes back the Winter Solstice and the Midsummer Prince wakes upon the back of the ancient turtle now the Hibernal Prince. Righteously he puts his domain back together, for in the time of his sleeping things wicked and many flood his world with nonsense, with foolishness. The season ends and so he sleeps again and returns the the Faraway Lover to wander all creation again, to observe and analyze and bestow wishes here and there, to subtly set up situations wherein her waking mind can like a stone cast down a hill roll forever and forever on in a momentum undeniably great.

As continues the cycle. Riots & Sewing & Ruling & Studying, again and again and again and again, neither He nor She the original, neither separate, neither the same, their songs forever being sang, their songs forever being sang.

Question for someone who's gotten it:
Is this 36 pg document really 347 Mb? I noticed that pointed out in the reviews on DMGuild. Any idea why it's so big?

Since you're asking for ideas, my guess would be some screwup in how they handled the art when making the PDF, not properly downsampling/compressing from the original working files for the PDF publication.

It's interesting because when I attempt "Reduce file size" in Adobe Acrobat Pro, it won't reduce because it's already been maximally reduced.

Based on my experience with converting from other softwares (esp within the Adobe Creative Suite) into PDF, and based on what I'm seeing each time I've open the Witchlight companion PDF – sort of a fast time lapse layering of background, watercolor splashes, light arcs, then the art and words – it appears that it's loading in various layers incrementally. Typically, if I were working from a layered software like Illustrator, for instance, I would want to collapse my layers when I exported my final PDF, because preserving that layer data takes up a lot more space. But that's just my hunch.
