The One Ring 2E: General Discussion Thread

Wow! Thank you for taking the trouble to make that list. I like most of the additions, I was a little afraid that the changes in the new edition were not significant at system level, but were more of a marketing move.

The One Ring 2E: General Discussion Thread

Would you mind commenting what changes the second edition has compared to the first from what you could see of the Alpha document? You don't need to develop anything specific, just roughly. Thank you!

What are you running right now?

Oh, this is fun! I´m running a D&D 5e Dragonlance campaign, which is coming to an end after three years (!) Also I´m running a Burning Wheel game in a homebrew world. Both games are weekly, so it's quite a challenge to change your game and setting mindset every three days.

    Myths of the Jonstown Compendium

That’s perfect, as the "true" in Gloranta is structured through myths and not scientific facts, and that has a great impact on the behavior of their societies.

    Myths of the Jonstown Compendium

The Glorantha Sourcebook is an amazing book to introduce yourself and your friends to Glorantha. It´s a lore book tho, so no system in there. I use it with Fate Core to play in the world. Besides ducks, Glorantha is amazing.

Release [Gumshoe] Casting the Runes: Occult Investigation in the World of M. R. James Now Available

Wow! If it's made by The Design Mechanism then it has to be good. If it is also a game of mystery and darkness, I am completely in. PS: I'm going to read something from M. R. James to get in the mood. I honestly don't know the author.

Bonds and solo player game of Dungeon World

Of course. Ironsworn has something called "Progress Track" that a PC fills up as it bonds with different people or communities on their adventures. When the PC retires, they must make a roll modified by the value of his Bonds Progress Track and according to the result, their retirement will be...

Bonds and solo player game of Dungeon World

I can think of two options: 1) Replace the PCs with NPCs in your bonds. 2) Replace all DW bond mechanics with Ironsworn bond mechanics.
