D&D 5E The Dual Wielding Ranger: How Aragorn, Drizzt, and Dual-Wielding Led to the Ranger's Loss of Identity

@Snarf Zagyg have you got a link to that cover, I have never seen that before.

    D&D 1E Giving an AD&D feel to 5e

The only changes I would make would be restrictions on races and classes/subclasses. So only elves and half elves can be Eldritch Knights or Arcane Tricksters etc. For example.

Unique British aspects of D&D in the UK?

It’s true that D&D has become its own genre and the default has US assumptions. To me it is very Wild West rather than medieval Europe and has increasingly become less and less like medieval Europe over the years. I think culturally D&D is much more standardised across the US and UK, at least...

D&D 5E [Guide] How to Win Fights and Intimidate People (Another Barbarian Primer)

My Barbarian only got to level 10 but higher level Barbarian abilities didn’t look great (at least until Lvl 20). I took the decision to multiclass to fighter.

D&D 5E Fantasy Grounds Previews of Tasha's Cauldron

I really like the Arcana Domain.

    D&D 5E Making 5E Feel Old School

for me the best way to make 5e feel like old editions (and I love both) is to limit races (no Dragonborn, tiefling etc) and limit classes and sub-classes. I’m still working on this but only elves can be eldritch knights, arcane tricksters etc. It mimics 1st edition multiclassing.

Which Non-D&D TSR Game Would You Like to See WotC Revive?

Yep, FASERIP Marvel is probably the best Supers game ever. I’d love to see it again. Star Frontiers comes second.

D&D 5E WotC's Jeremy Crawford on D&D Races Going Forward

I don’t think it is. I think due process is an English Law concept and therefore distinct from civil law systems that descend from Roman law.

What is the best low-magic fantasy system?

I'd also recommend Adventures in Middle Earth. It’s low magic 5e.

    D&D General Wind Dukes

Yeah, sentient ducks feature pretty heavily in RuneQuest.

D&D General The Generic Deities of D&D

PHB says 8th level Cleric for dwarven npcs. This was changed in Unearthed Arcana so dwarves PCs could be clerics, 13th level was possible for single classed dwarven clerics with 18 WIS.

D&D 5E What are some of your favorite FUN Multiclass combos & why?

Arcana Cleric 1/Wizard x (1 at the moment). More cantrips than I know what to do with!

D&D General Fundamental Problem Of Old Settings

I'm a GH fan. My understanding was Gygax was planning a Wars change to the timeline as there are various articles in Dragon to support it but it was ultimately done without him. I tend to prefer pre-Wars. Although I had the FR greybox I never played in it until 5e! The northern setting is okay...

The One Ring Might Not Be Dead

Here’s a crazy idea, could Sophisticated Games do a deal with WotC to publish AiME?

My favourite 5e house rule: Adventures in Middle-Earth!

I'm keen that AiME is revived.

Unearthed Arcana New UA: 43 D&D Class Feature Variants

Melee clerics have been around since the beginning. And far more common than Paladins until recently. In 5e without extra attacks melee clerics really suffer.
