    OGL Crow Eating thread

I've played the Red Alert series; I'm inclined to go with the latter.

    OGL Crow Eating thread

Other than inventing a time machine and scrapping the whole idea before it even got rolling, let alone had a draft of it leaked, I think this was probably the best possible outcome, for pretty much everyone involved. I mean, I guess except for the people who wanted to see WotC crash and burn.

But can you even play Goldeneye properly with a controller designed for two-handed beings?

OGL Keith Baker asks about walking away from Eberron.

Jokes about obscure video games aside, this is the straw that will probably break my back. At this point I've dragged literally dozens of new players into the game of Dungeons & Dragons using, primarily, a synopsis of the Eberron campaign setting. I don't know even know how much brand loyalty...

Best (& Worst) Films and Series of 2022

Trying to think of things I watched in 2022 that are from 2022. The list isn't super long, I guess. TV Shows: Great Secrets of Sulphur Springs (S2) - Easily the second best live-action show on Disney+ not already associated with a major franchise. Acting and writing are way better than it has...

The Last of Us (HBO Max)

Yeah we saw a Bloater in the trailer for sure. I've seen several articles at this point though refer to all of the infected in the series as Clickers, I guess maybe it wasn't clear that a Clicker was a particular variety

The Last of Us (HBO Max)

Curious, I keep seeing articles make the same mistake. For people who haven't played the game, is it clear that Clickers are different from typical runners?

    Your Post Apocalyptic Shopping List

Surprised nobody mentioned it, but medical supplies. And beyond the obvious too, like painkillers, bandages, splints, antibiotics to fight off infections, etc. There's a lot of people whose ability to live long and healthy lives with easy access to medicine suddenly have an extremely short life...

The Last of Us (HBO Max)

You'd have to play it to get the true show experience though; screwing up the stealth and resorting to panicked blasting is now canonical. edit: Also, perhaps more importantly, the joke book segments are all during gameplay.

The "I Didn't Comment in Another Thread" Thread

TBF, everyone was nervous about "bathroom bills" too, but they get nowhere. Regardless of what might appear to be happening in the slowly self-destructing island hell-nation and the movements and hand-wringing of so many projecting politicians in parts of the country I'm legally not allowed to...

The "I Didn't Comment in Another Thread" Thread

I don't really see how any of this is applicable to the OGL at all. The internet had their hissy fit over gender-inclusive language a decade ago, and the collective religious right's anti-D&D crusade flamed out before most D&D players in this day and age were born. And again, no governor is...

The "I Didn't Comment in Another Thread" Thread

I get the issue in principle, but not in practice. And one thing I've learned on the front lines is that the latter often undervalued but more important in both the short and long term. D&D had (an honest attempt at) gender-inclusive language in 2014. So forgive if I find the idea that they'll...
