Some varieties of Tieflings, all with the aim of depicting different types, including some classic varieties, some based on types of fiends like Glabrezu, Vrock, Imp or Hamatula, and even certain Humanoid backgrounds like Orc, Elf or Halfling.
200 words is nowhere near the actual limit if they're using some MySQL-based db, the character limit is probably 65535 characters if it's a text column. But no one wants to read something that's 65535 characters long when there's so many other things to read.
I used to call racial level limits back in 2e "racist level limits", I don't think anyone I knew liked the explanations for why they existed in the first place.
I'm pretty sure that the Paladin's Smite Ability will be nerfed to into "usable once per turn". I always thought it worked that way, but after looking it up it's once per attack in the old rules. So I think the revision will be only once per turn.
In addition to that, I think they might Nerf...
Hit Dice have been mainly used as a resource for healing during short rests, and in the playtest can be used outside of short rests with the Durable Feat. I think the rest place they tried to have Hit Dice power something else was in the Dragonlance UA playtest, but I don't think those uses...
I also wouldn't be opposed to Sigil taking some of the visual cues of the depictions Piltover and Zaun from Arcane (mainly because I'm rewatching that series), but I'm sure others would be quite opposed to that idea.
I definitely feel Planescape during it's run in 2e, basically abandoned and...
For Planescape I suspect Tony DiTerlizzi will be back though probably only for 1 or 2 new commissioned art pieces instead of all the artwork. He might have stated sometime ago he was doing something for WotC. Dana Knuston who's work was also quite important in the look of Planescape though...
Epic Boons are of course out of reach for nearly all characters, but my idea for an Epic Boon is one that makes all ability scores of a character rise to a certain minimum, whether it be 20 or 18 or something lower. An Epic Boon of Perfection, where they sort of become a being like the Paragon...
Sigil itself needs a level detail that describes the different Wards (The Hive, Lower Ward, Lady's Ward and so on) and some significant locations like faction headquarters (The Gatehouse, Hall of Speakers, so on) and some unique locations of interest like that shop with the Demon-possessed...
I'm trying to think of concepts for mystical warriors of specific elements (the 4 classical elements), though not too much into rules and mechanics specifics, but maybe a basic description of what they might be like.
Because these concepts are elemental warrior they're of course going to be...
I want "Bastions" to be flexible. For some campaigns it might very well be a castle or mage tower, for others it might just be a neighbourhood (like a few blocks) in a crowded metropolis. Or maybe it's a demiplane or a small village in an enchanted grove.
For less MAD I think some more classes should then use other ability scores for AC or attack bonuses, and other ability scores for HP. Maybe being spiritually attuned as a Monk makes one healthier (aka Wis for HP bonuses).
For more MAD across all classes, I think it should be Dex as the attack...
T'Pol and Tuvok who are both full-on Vulcans and regular characters in their respective series don't seem to be that much different, from what Spock can do. And one can argue in the character creation of B'elanna Torres the player picked "Human" over "Klingon".
One of the most iconic Hybrid species characters of all time is Star Trek's Spock. He's the iconic Vulcan, and doesn't seem to have abilities much different from any other Vulcan, even if he's part Human. So in some ways as a D&D One playtest example, someone just picked "Vulcan" for their...
