So the Tomes and the box sets have the same content? There a single B//X tome or a box set of you want the content broken out. Also two AF tomes or a to-be-released box set of you want the advanced content broken out. Is this right?

I understand Old School Essentials is basically a cleaned up B/X ruleset. However, I’m a little confused on the offerings. Is it a single book? A box set? What’s this new KS about? I just want B/X… what do I need?

alright, one more question… if I got four of these (Into the Borderlands, Lost City, Isle of Dread, and Castle Amber)… it would be two for levels 1-3 and two for levels 3+. What would be the best pairings to run? I’m thinking Into the Borderlands followed by Isle of Dread and Lost City...

I’m looking to run some of the Goodman Games 5e conversions of reincarnated models. I have a contemporary 5e DM screen that I like, but for these occasions, I think I’d prefer something with old school style art facing the players. Is anyone aware of any retro looking DM screens for 5e? Thanks!

I think I’m interested in playing the Hommlet adventure, but maybe not the following dungeons. If I bought the two book set is Hommlet completely contained in one?

@Retreater - what is this Dark Tower I’ve seen mentioned? I’m not Familiar with it. Is it a 5e adventure of the old board game? EDIT: nvm I see it’s an older adventure… but in three books!?!! Also, what didn’t translate to modern audiences? Did you have a TPK?

I appreciate all the replies. Those that have run these reincarnated versions, are you using original 1e rules or the 5e conversions?

How practical are these big books during play at the game table? Do they stay open? Are they bound well for the rigors of play?

I’m leaning towards running Into the Borderlands as it was the pack-in module back in the day, but still open to maybe one of the others. About how many sessions did it take your group to complete it? Did it play well for modern gamers?
