Honestly, I was surprised it got a release date in China at all. China often does not allow films featuring things like magic, undead and other supernatural elements into the country; the first Suicide Squad famously wasn't allowed entry, in part because of Enchantress. Several other films...

Sigh. It should be noted that CosmicBookNews is a notoriously unreliable outlet that leans into anti-"woke" commentary and is somewhere below the level of We Got This Covered in terms of credibility (aka exactly who you would expect NuTSR to be quoting). They're basing their article on Box...

I'm not a parent myself so my opinion is what it is (not much). But of all the people in the TTRPG space, Dave Johnson is at or near the bottom of who I would take opinions on what is or isn't appropriate to have kids see. And Grits Tub LaNasa isn't all that much higher.

He's not even shy about it either. The TSR Hobbies Ratings Meter links directly to the ESRB Ratings Guide while requiring a contract to actually use.

For what it's worth, LaNasa claims it's Taekwondo. Which, as we all know, isn't worth much because I don't think anyone would put it past him passing off a certification from one martial art for another.

I would expect nothing less (or perhaps nothing more is a better way to put it) from NuTSR at this point. Honestly, I'm not even "impressed" at this level of bigotry and slur-laden insults. The problem children (and I mean, very likely, literally children) that I've banned from the...

Alternately, "NuTSR's LaNasa immediately sued Justin Michael LaNasa for the trademark to his name, while Justin Michael LaNasa countersued for defamation, arguing, 'Hey I may have been arrested twice in one week, but better than than be confused with the guy whose name is on Star Frontiers: New...

In fairness, that's the LEAST offensive formatting/grammar/spelling thing LaNasa's done.

So that "Add your own description in the comments" thing evidently didn't turn out like he hoped, did it?

I mean, I think we all know based on his work that "creative" is not something that can be properly applied to LaNasa in just about any capacity.

I mean, it's already BLATANTLY clear that Justin deleted comments in there as he's clearly replied to messages that aren't in the screenshots. So I really don't know what he thinks this proves, other than "Yes, I do delete messages."

In complete fairness the Ebay note could be considered questionable anyway. Just about everything else in the James Ward Collection that the seller is advertising has a certificate from Ward verifying it; the note is among the few items that doesn't.

You're not wrong, and to be clear I'm not trying crap on Paizo for it. There is a matter of some people who would buy the books seeing them in a physical store or Amazon and not realizing there was a free version they could download (the description on Amazon, as you can see here, made no...

It looks way more like a cursive capital S to me more than a cursive capital J. As someone who uses the J in my signature, once you've done the top loop you would have to make a conscious choice not to create the lower loop that goes under the horizon -- at which point, you're not doing a J...

I mean in fairness, by Justin terms that's downright uncannily accurate. :p

Was gonna say this one myself. At least Marvel's is (presumably) a significantly less expensive price than the final book will be. The Pathfinder 2 Playtest was $30 for softcover, $45 for hardcover and $60 for deluxe hardcover. It still blows my mind that people paid that much for that.

I'd like to say that it's surprising that anyone, even someone married to LaNasa, would do that. I can't say that, but I'd like to.
