We've noticed that there is no 'Delay' action in 5e PH (or maybe I've missed it!). There are instances where a player wants to see how the action unfolds before acting, and 'Ready' isn't what the are looking to do. Are there any unintended consequences to House Ruling Delay? Thanks, Verys

I would say that the animal companion rules would for the template for PCs that want to have a pet sans class feature. I wouldn't allow a non-hunter to get a pet that has full independent actions. Or if I did, it would count as another PC for XP division and encounter balancing. I don't think...

I've noticed that a lot of the traps and secret doors in the Lost Mines of Phandelver have different DCs for passive perception and active perception, as well.

Yes, I noticed that too when the Basic rules were released. I'm planning on doing an update after the PH is released, just in case there is anything else that needs adjusting.

Here is something that made me go hmmm. There is no 5 foot step or shift in 5e, and Disengage is an action. So a spell caster or archer has to either attack with disadvantage or spend their turn retreating safely. A ranged character that finds itself in melee has a much more difficult time...

I've added a spell sheet version for casting classes now. It is meant to be printed double-sided, folded, and then put inside the main character sheet so it forms a little mini-book.

It could be that they have chosen to include more Evoker spells on the wizard spell list since the subclass in Basic is an Evoker, and left others off the basic list?
