Honestly, I could see them doing white and gold covers, like they did for the limited edition rules expanded box set. Maybe that was the practice run for their new style, in the same way that MPMM was a practice run for their new monster stats blocks.

Well, yes, I have run Descent into Avernus all the way through, and Wild Beyond the Witchlight. Both were a blast, even though Avernus needed some reorganization. But I have also used other adventure books for set pieces. I hope to run Rime of the Frostmaiden all the way through some day, but...

I think both types of product are nice. My reasoning is "even if I don't like the full adventure, I can steal pieces." But I often do like the full adventure. I never run them exactly as written, but I often stick to the main plot. Even though I love homebrewing, sometimes I don't have the time...

Yeah. Even if I don't run an adventure all the way through, I steal characters, set pieces, plot hooks. They also often contain detailed setting information which supplements other atlas-like setting supplements. They are "show, not tell" books for settings.
