D&D 5E D&D Lied To Me. Gp vs Sp

Low quality diamonds with small sizes and/or imperfections are common in real life, and quite possibly in DnD as well. As such diamond dust would be cheap while large diamonds cut to perfection would still not be cheap. Whole diamonds used in spells also might not be as large as one might imagine.

Planescape The Great Wheel, the World Axis, and the Abyss

The 4e lore has the cosmos existing before the Abyss, but not necessarily the multiverse in its current form.

Planescape The Great Wheel, the World Axis, and the Abyss

You're assuming that the Abyss came into being after the arrangement of planes in aligned structure instead of before. It's more likely the other way around IF going by the clues in official lore across editions.

Planescape The Great Wheel, the World Axis, and the Abyss

There was no "before". The Abyss was formed BY the Shard of Evil. The Shard of Evil itself was tossed into the Elemental Chaos, then started warping reality to form planar layers.

    D&D (2024) Here's The New 2024 Player's Handbook Wizard Art

I grew up watching Generation 1 Pokemon and YuGiOh! so every time I see fingerless gloves, I imagine there's a battle challenge about to go down.

D&D General The D&D Cartoon is set in Faerun since when?

It's worth noting that the DnD cartoon realm doesn't actually have to be a region of Faerûn to be IN Faerûn. A powerful wizard, deity, or godlike being might construct a realm inside a magic object, miniaturized so much it might even fit in the palm of one's hand.

D&D General The D&D Cartoon is set in Faerun since when?

It's worth noting that demiplanes, portals, parallel realities, and time travel could also help bridge the gaps.

WotC New D&D survey from WotC as part of the 50th anniversary year.

I love DnD, but I chose "negative" in my opinion of its direction because it won't truly be "One DnD" unless they consolidate the lore across editions instead of retconning during every edition while putting out inconsistent red herrings.

D&D 5E Players, would you play in a game that only used the 5.1 SRD?

I'd play a 1-shot or limited campaign with just 5.1 SRD, but as a wizard main who loves designing spells, I wouldn't commit to a long campaign that restricts me from something that I really enjoy.

DDAL D&D Adventurers League Service Rewards

I remember when organized play would reward DMs with real life swag. It was a huge incentive to volunteer on a regular basis rather than occasionally.
