My thought process is that because he's the God of Secrets, he's able to keep secrets from others, including deities. But, no power is entirely fool proof, so the information leaks out to a few in the multiverse. Which is still pretty damn good, mind you!

Having not fully read ToFW, I think one of the main things would be if you want to deal with the glitched characters for that long. I think some people might shy away from that, but others might love it!

I'll be following this thread, but I won't really have anything to add to it. I do plan on running the adventure, but I just need to figure out getting a group comprising of half brand new players to 10th level in the meantime!

The main thing that I would want, is for whoever is chosen to develop a new BG-style game needs to have the time to cook. Give them the resources and the time to actually make the best game they can. Unfortunately, that's anathema to a lot of video game publishers these days.
