This was a major reason we are going to dump 5e after this adventure concludes, the only thing that seems to matter are stats. everything is linked to them so tightly that it feels way too simplified.

DDO is in Eberron, so the multimedia thing is covered. It would be nice to stop having FR shoved down our throats.

The lack of Eberron is the biggest reason we are dropping 5e. Granted we dont like the rules the way we do 4e, but if Eberron was "moved forward" into the new edition it would be worth giving it another go. Haunting this site in hopes of seeing some Eberron love coming our way.

From what I gathered on the DLNexus site, 5e will never do official dragonlance and WOTC is deliberately keeping DL down so as to prop up FR. I recommend going over to those forums, Weiss and Banks post there somewhat regularly and the gist of it is, they and WOTC are not on good terms. So yeah...

Having bought it, I can see why, other than the shoddy craftsmanship, there was not much really in it regarding what happened. It seemed like a slate cleaning of the spellplague and then go.

Something to think about with us Ebberon folks is it was the first "new" setting of 3rd ed, and one of only three really done for 4th (FR, dark sun being the others) since the WOTC era, we have been a part. It really feels like 5th just dropped us cold and only FR matters.

Dragonshards, psionics are a must, artifice, and they need a new book to get across the feel of the setting. DDO is a good representation of stormreach and the area around Xendrik, but there is alot more too it. Action points, etc. It has a whole different way of looking at creatures and planes...
