D&D 5E Looking for feedback on Homebrew subclass; Fighter: Scout

The archetypal Scout excels at finding safe passage through dangerous regions. Scouts usually favor light armor and ranged weapons. They excel with mobility and use it to get an advantage on their target through range. Bonus Proficiencies When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain...

D&D 5E Looking for Peer Review/Constructive Criticism on Homebrew D&D Class: Medic

eh, the most updated and streamlined version is on another forum site. http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?536687-Custom-Class-The-Medic I'll have to update the Google Doc once I can get to it. But I feel I've got a good handle on it.

D&D 5E Looking for Peer Review/Constructive Criticism on Homebrew D&D Class: Medic

There are poisons, status effects and other things available to the Alchemical Medic which would help with your last point. As for the limiter, remedies go inert after 24 hours so you can only prepare 2 x (Class Level). So if you're a level 1 medic, you can prepare 2 remedies for the next 24...

D&D 5E Looking for Peer Review/Constructive Criticism on Homebrew D&D Class: Medic

I was using the Cleric as a reference for this and the Artificer for scaling references. D&D 5E Looking for Peer Review/Constructive Criticism on Homebrew D&D Class: Medic

Please let me know if I misunderstood what you're trying to say but it seems like you're talking about healing during long rests. In which case, why would any healer need to use their abilities when everyone can just sleep it off? This is not for downtime, this is for in combat scenarios. Look...

D&D 5E Looking for Peer Review/Constructive Criticism on Homebrew D&D Class: Medic

Let me clarify. When I mean it's not as potent, I mean it won't heal as instantly as say a Cure Wounds used with a 3rd level spell slot. It can heal just as much and possibly more over a duration of around 3 turns.

D&D 5E Looking for Peer Review/Constructive Criticism on Homebrew D&D Class: Medic

Here's some persective. I'm not a big fan of magic myself. I don't play as wizards in D&D or MMORPGs. I prefer warriors or those without magic through use of determination or ingenuity. My D&D is limited since I've only been playing biweekly since March of this year. Having more experience from...

D&D 5E Looking for Peer Review/Constructive Criticism on Homebrew D&D Class: Medic

A few notes: The goal of this class was to make a class that could heal a party without any magic or spellcasting whatsoever (this does not include magical properties found in some ingredients). There are two paths of this healing class, Alchemical Medic and Combat Medic. The Alchemical Medic...
