I've recent;y created a wild mage for an upcoming game, and my DM converted the wild magic spells from the old 2e Tome of Magic books. Better still, she's giving them to my character as bonus spells. Perhaps take a look at that book, if you can find it. It has fun stuff.

Agreed. The only class lower than the sorcerer is the ranger. Really, I wish more thought had been put into the sorcerer. It's just so strange to me that the so-called natural born magical genius is the worst full caster.

My opinion? It's a garbage spell, something I would never cast. And for those saying that concentration isn't a big deal, I envy your ability to shrug off those saves. I've had terrible luck passing those saves, to the point that I retired the character because I was losing most of my spells...
