Played a couple games of Pandemic w/On The Brink expansion. We didn't use any of the expansion game-styles though, just added the roles. Normal mode. For some reason in our first game, we got clobbered by outbreaks with 3 epidemics played relatively early. When they get clustered like that...

This casting was spot-on. Between Peter Dinklage and Maisie Williams.... oh and Jaime Lannister and Ned Stark and Robert Baratheon and... and... and.. The casting crew deserves an Emmy.

They've done a wonderful job in both seasons of taking the single character perspective of the novels and translating it into a narrative. And if no one has seen season one on blu-ray in 1080p, I feel for you. The leather is thicker, the wrinkles on Eddard's face are deeper and the the colors...

We played a 4-player Game of Thrones 2nd Edition last night, and Baratheon crushed us without needing to attack any other player. The 4-player version is plain broken and unless some of the neutral sites in the south are closed off, it's basically guaranteed that Baratheon will win. Bummer...

The writing has been pretty good so far, so I am guessing that they will use some expository scene between Stannis and Selyse that will outline how long Melisandre has been there and that Selyse may regret bringing her into the fold (so to speak). This seems to be the way they have explained...
