    Tumble - Isn't it broken?

And it allows you to move right through an opponent as if they weren't even there REGARDLESS of how badly you fail the roll. I think if you mess up your tumble check, you should have to stop your movement as soon as someone takes an AoO at you. Either that, or give everyone the ability to move...

    Tumble - Isn't it broken?

So if the bouncer beat's the rogues init roll (yea, right), then he can stop that ONE person. The rest, of course would all be free to breeze right by him. I guess DM intervention is the only solution. You just have to make a "doorway blocking" rule to prevent Tumbling silliness.

    Tumble - Isn't it broken?

A big burly bouncer is guarding the door to the tavern. "None shall pass.", he proclaims stoically, folding his beefy arms across his chest. As a DM, how would handle this? Anyone with Tumble can move through this guy as is they were incorporeal, even if they fail the roll! Is there any way...

    Question involving magical items...

Sadly, when you put a spell into one of those items, it loses a lot of it's strength. You ALWAYS drop the DCs down to the minimum possible value, regardless of the caster's stats or desires.

    Tumble - Isn't it broken?

A "fix" that I would like to see is that you have to stop your movement once someone takes a swing at you. Just doesn't seem right that a rouge can move right through the bad guys regardless of their Tumble roll.

    Rebalancing the Summon Monster spells

Another option to consider would be leaving summoning as is, but add some new spells (possibly player-researched) that can be used to augment your summoned creatures. Maybe do things like: Reset duration Maximize hit points Heal Increase stats Bonuses to hit and damage or crit range/multiplier...

What all can go towards touch AC?

And to be even more clear, ignoring the armor bonus to AC also means that ignore the enchanment bonus on the armor that is being ignored. In other words, your +5 plate is just as useless against a touch attack as mundane plate.

    Gaseous Form to avoid poison?

Hey, I found a great bit of information under the "delay poison" spell. This shows that a poison can linger around waiting for you to become un-immune. So anyway, you turn gaseous and are immune until you come back. Then ERK! (thud)... In the case of Gaseous Form, I would also rule that you...

    Frenying Berzerker Deathless Frenzy Question

In a recent campaign, we beat a frenzied ettin down to -900 hitpoints before we figured it out and "killed" him with Calm Emotions. That is a nasty ability, especially for the villians to use. They really need some sort of damage limit or it's just silly.

    Spells without somatic components

A useful list (especially for grappling mages), but you probably meant "without somatic components".

    Periphats of wisdom and such

This is probably a good place to mention that abilitiy boosting spells, even if they're up 24 hrs a day, do not grant you any bonus spells. Better to stick with your parfairiapt.

    Gaseous Form to avoid poison?

I'm asking this as the DM. A player would very likely have died except that he drank a gaseous form potion before the second set of poison effects came around. I find it difficult to kill a player with poison when the book says rather clearly that he is immune to poison is all. So you say the...

    Gaseous Form to avoid poison?

If a character is poisoned but is in Gaseous Form ten rounds later, does the poison just go away with no chance of causing additional harm? The spell says that the character is immune to poison. So does it just go away, or does it go into "stasis" for the duration of the gaseous form and then...

    Is my NPC still invisible?

I'd vote for still invisible. In game terms, I'd say she; during her surprise round; "Readies an attack against the victim moving". Then she speaks as a free action. Niether of these ruin invisibility. And the game mechanics work well enough for what you are trying to do. If the person decides...

Why are druids so dumb? (kidding - looking for druid experiences)

Though I only got to play for a few levels, I had some good experiences with a "combat oriented" druid. He was a halforc and more strong than wise. Using a longspear and the Combat Reflexes/ Expert Tactician feats, he was able to do really well in low-level combat. His orcish strength, combined...

    Vampires and Domination

It is probably in most fighters nature to kill vampires that are eating his friends, so that's a bonus save right there. It's probably self destructive to stand immobile while the vampire kills your friends, so that is not an option. You are not charmed. You don't like the vampire. You just have...

Pit Fiend just let it go. You don't like the rules fine, but please stop being so immature and antagonistic. Your question has been answered very clearly and by numerous people. You're just making yourself look foolish now.

    Buff Injustice

Cure Light Wounds is not on the Wizards class list, therefore a Wizard cannot use a scroll of Cure Light Wounds (regardless of whether it is Arcane or Divine).
