It's a fantasy novel, well more like dark fantasy. It's a novel. I've read, watched, and played (D&D for nearly 20 years WOOOOOOOH! until I decided to leave the scene for good in '04)) all sorts of fantasy genres and I just got sick of the good guys wear white hats sort of scene. I never did...

Blowing the Dust off of My Files

Wow this stuph is old and I apologize for anything that may be "square". Kill, hug, feed, or steal them...I care not except that you all enjoy them. Whatever happened to Claymore anyway!? Jin Kalib's Clockwork Thief Tiny Construct Conversion by Claymore AL: Neutral HD: 2d10 (11 hp)...

How bad does it have to get before one needs to see a psychiatrist?

Well it's up to the person, but a good sign is when Dr. Phil begins to make sense... Seriously though; it's a matter of comfort and IF YOU are not comfortable and have the means to see a specialist, by all means do so...especially if there is something offered at your place of employment. I...

Oh yeah totally and I opened this thread for others that do the same I suppose. I learn a lot by listening and observing others. There's people who have broken away and those that maintain the "two job" routine like me; I like hearing the stories. Rat infested apartments...Chinese food...do I...

I flaked out! I find that the unpaid work is usually the most satisfying myself, but it would be nice to get a check everytime I do something creative! Not gonna happen though, LOL. The risk of getting fired for doing a little something on the side sucks and I wish your friend the best of luck.

Yeah it's a toss up out there. I'll keep writing though, but it would be nice to not have to punch a time clock someday. The cover art point was a very good one and I can see how they would frown on me using my own...I'd still like to though. THAT part is still in the works and I'm curious to...

Nah it's not personal at all. They publish without cost to me and I get a $1 advance to seal the deal. The royalties are quite generous, but I have to do most of the pimping of my work to get it on the shelves of local book stores. Availability is secure online though. I guess if every book...

Oooooh my publisher is, well...they publish books and there are advantages and disadvantages. The work gets out there though and that is at least a chance. I just cruised the net one day and inquired...the company has a bad rap, but like I said, the work gets out there. No sale really; they...

If I had the time; the work I could do would be immense...at least I believe that. It's difficult to just jump into "the mood" when a third of the day or more has been spent doing another's bidding, LOL. 20 year project!? WOah...It must really be something you have to do then...A spiritual...

    BattleStar Galactica:Season 3.5--3/11/07--Arc 17(18?)

Starbuck Dead? I see a remake of the "beings of the light" from the old show in the works...it should prove interesting.

I'm a new old visitor (I used to go by the handle Shivamuffin...boos and or hisses may apply)of this site and it's nice to be back. I've recently wrote my first book and I don't want to pimp it yet; that's not the purpose of the thread. This is for the people who are either working on (Or have...
