Final Fantasy XII sucks. Period. Fact.

Okay... that's like saying "Oh, so you liked the great acting and gritty feel of Dark Knight? Sorry, that doesn't a good superhero movie make." Everyone plays games for different reasons, and it's not news that FF attracts a lot of people (myself included) because of how stunning its graphics...

Final Fantasy XII sucks. Period. Fact.

I want to play XIII, and I <3 Blu-ray. I'll probably end up getting a PS3 for those reasons when I have disposable income, and once my roommate's gone, as she currently has one that I can use.

Final Fantasy XII sucks. Period. Fact.

I think I played the game through without ever really using quickenings. Maybe in the plantdragon boss fight (don't remember where that comes, so I'll say no more) but mostly, I didn't need them. Though you make a good point, it's been a while so I'm unsure when you get all the gambit slots. Of...

Final Fantasy XII sucks. Period. Fact.

I prefer life to Phoenix Downs in mid-game, until the end when speed in boss fights is more valuable than money. As for Larsa -- instead of having Any --> Phoenix Down, try having each person responsible one or two other people -- like set a gambit for Vaan that's Penelo --> Phoenix Down, etc...

    Good Games for the Wii?

I really recommend NHL 2K9 when it comes out Sept. 10. It's a sports game to begin with, so it's really active, and you can do all the moves in the game (slap shots, passing, goal tending, etc.) with the wii remote and the nunchuk. There's also fighting in game, also done with the wii remote...

    Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

I'm really excited for Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. It looks like a really cute movie, and also hilariously funny. There are a few lines toward the end of the trailer that are just priceless. Made me laugh out loud at work, which is generally not a good plan. >_>...

Played Legend: Hand of God and loved it

Oh man... I've been playing it most nights after work, and I'm really hooked. I love the level of customization/hybridization you can do with your character... like mine is specialized in the way of the warrior and the way of faith -- so healer+warrior=paladin. The armor is pretty good too, and...

Played Legend: Hand of God and loved it

I'm in the middle of Legend: Hand of God, the new PC fantasy RPG from THQ that came out last week. I have to say I'm totally hooked. The gameplay is smooth and engaging, the story just pulls you in, and the graphics are stunning. It's just tremendous fun, and I'd been in a pretty big slump when...

Any fans of the Might & Magic games still alive?

I looved M&M IV. I haven't played any of the ones since then, though. Are they mostly turn-based like IV? If I was going to pick one to pick up, which would you guys suggest? (As a fan of IV. :P)

How I Met Your Mother and CSI online in HD

CBS has added an HD gallery to its website, streaming a bunch of episodes of its shows for free in high-def. How I Met Your Mother is definitely my favorite (Neil Patrick Harris! Alyson Hannigan! <3) but there's also tons of CSI and Numb3rs. Plenty of stuff to keep me occupied all day at work...

    MLB Power Pros 2008

Power Pros 2 comes out at the end of the month. I'm not usually a sports game person, but the style looks pretty cool and there's a bunch of different game modes, apparently developed from fan feedback from the first game. so you can go anywhere from the basic baseball game mode to a more...

    Diablo III

I was really psyched to see Diablo III announced... and then I saw the release date. September 2009? That means we're not getting it until summer of 2010, if not 2011. Curse it.

    Recently got sucked into WoW

Auctioneer and Questhelper are musts. You will make so much more money with Auctioneer than without -- I can't stress that enough. Makes a huge difference. I also recommend Omen for groups/instances. Also, don't neglect the "Looking For Group" button, found along the bottom toolbar. Especially...

    The Middle Man

Yeah the ratings are okay, I wish more people watched it though its actually a really good show! ABC Family has had some pretty good series lately and this is one of them. Also the time change actually helped me out, I got out of my class at 9:50 on Mondays now I can actually watch it!

Welcome to the Halmae (updated 2/27/07)

Yes this show has continued to impress me, the premiere was funny, witty and pretty much dead on with the comic. I think the casting is perfect, Natalie Morales as Wendy is a great match and I belive Matt Keeslar was born to play this one. Anyone watch it last night?

    Wall-E

Yes. I don't think anyone would try to claim that Auto was an original. HAL was fantastic -- that Pixar referenced him in their film only means that they didn't feel the need to screw that up by trying to top it.
