D&D 5E skill failure: where is it discussed?

Are you the DM? Excellent, tell them what happens. MAKE the DECISION.

    D&D 5E Semi-sandbox product I'd love to see

Other than Lost Mines, you've got: Scourge of the Sword Coast, set in Daggerdale just south east of Waterdeep. Levels 1-6 or 7 ( It's a little bit longer than Lost Mines.) It'd be pretty easy to up the levels a hit and still provide a good challenge for a post-Phalandrin party. I don't...

    D&D 5E Semi-sandbox product I'd love to see

Also, check out Scourge of the Sword Coast, from the playtest. It details Daggerdale, just south of Waterdeep, and has a bunch of plots and local places for adventure detailed. It's designed for the playtest, so very little work is needed to convert it.

    Greg Tito Is UHURA!

Jimmifet is very concerned about ethics in table top roleplaying games.

D&D 5E Light release schedule: More harm than good?

Gazetteer was a 32 page preview of the later Living Greyhawk Gazetteer. Sunless Citadel and Forge of Fury were 32 page adventures. Pool of Radiance and Into the Dragon's Lair were clearly 2e products hastily and sloppily converted over to 3e. Diablo 2 was best completely ignored. Waste of...

D&D 5E I believe the D&D boardgames actually hinder the table top game.

You are a pessimist, a doomsayer, and you've made your complete hatred for Wizards quite clear. There is nothing they can do to make you happy. I honestly don't know why you're even posting in the 5e section of the forum when you've made it so abundantly clear how much you love Pathfinder.

D&D 5E Reasons Why My Interest in 5e is Waning

I'm sorry, but you are wholly and factually incorrect. The PHB released at Gencon, last August. It's been out six months. The playtest was going on longer than that, but the PHB has been out six months. The free, basic rules came out about a month earlier. There were a number of adventures...

D&D 5E Reasons Why My Interest in 5e is Waning

Man this crap is getting old. 3e releases, first six months: PHB MM DMG Sunless Citadel/Forge of Fury/The Speaker in Dreams ( three 32 page adventures, taking a party up to 9th level ) Hero Builder's Guidebook ( A very forgettable splatbook ) Pool of Radiance: Attack on Myth Drannor ( So bad...

D&D 5E Reasons Why My Interest in 5e is Waning

But that's just it. This release schedule *is* a happy medium at the moment. Five big books in the first six months? That's ambitious. Note that right here you're criticizing Wizards for "cancelling" a product that was never officially announced. ( And the stuff from that cancelled book *is*...

D&D 5E Reasons Why My Interest in 5e is Waning

Dude. We get it. You're impatient. You've been banging this drum for two years now. You want an OGL, and you want in now. Wizards has said that they'll have some more information in "early 2015." Patience, please.

D&D 5E Reasons Why My Interest in 5e is Waning

Right. Because five hardcover books in six months is a slow release cycle. Gotcha.

D&D 5E Reasons Why My Interest in 5e is Waning

I just picked up Scourge of the Sword Coast, and it's great. Easily as good ( probably slightly better, as the town is larger and more detailed) as Lost Mines of Phalandrin, and it's going to take very minimum of convertion to be fully playable.

D&D 5E Reasons Why My Interest in 5e is Waning

Wait. So, you're a publisher who makes Pathfinder products, and so we should take your problems with 5e seriously? To address your points: 5) I am quite certain that something on this front will be announced soon. 4) Not everyone cares about pdfs. You do, because you sell them. They've been...

    Advanced Bestiary

5 out of 5 rating for Advanced Bestiary Leafing through this book makes me wish that I played Pathfinder. Great art, excellent production values. I hope that a 5e OGL comes along soon, and that Green Ronin do a version for D&D.

    Deluxe Dungeon Master's Screen

5 out of 5 rating for Deluxe Dungeon Master's Screen My Wife surprised me with this as a present at one of my games. I was a little leery, as I had heard bad things about the DM screen. ( Luckily, it seems that was about the GF9 DMs screen, so W00T! ) It has an excellent assortment of charts...

    D&D 5th Edition Player's Handbook

5 out of 5 rating for D&D 5th Edition Player's Handbook I am loving the heck out of this edition of D&D. I've got one campaign going right now, and am about to start up a second one AT THE SAME TIME. I've never thought about doing something like that before. Combats don't take hours and hours...

    D&D 5th Edition Starter Set

5 out of 5 rating for D&D 5th Edition Starter Set This is an amazing adventure. It's quite fun, it has a near perfect mix of dungeon crawling and role playing adventures. Is it perfect? No. Have I ( or would I ) ever run it without making changes? No. But that's a part of who I am. I'm a...

    Scourge of the Sword Coast

5 out of 5 rating for Scourge of the Sword Coast This is really good. I haven't run it yet, but reading through it makes me *want* to run it. A wealth of RP opportunity in Daggerford, with a bunch of small-medium dungeons ( or adventure locations) to quest in. It's got a good backbone tying it...

Spoiler rules Question: Healing lore/Healing Word

one thing I've been noticing throughout the Cleric section, is some of the powers that heal direct you to add your WIS bonus to the healed damage, and some powers don't mention it at all. Healing Lore directs you to add your WIS bonus to all powers that heal and have the "Healing" keyword...
