Aiming her bow and squinting into the darkness, Valana struggles to see what the ratlings are doing.
If she can see well enough with her low light vision, Valana will start shooting at one of the ratlings.
Nocking an arrow, Valana waits to provide covering fire to any of her companions crossing the rope bridge or to prevent the creatures on the other side from crossing.
Is there enough light to see what's on the other side? That the red eyes actually belong to ratlings?
Examining the entryway for herself, Valana mutters, "Definitely going to have to come back here later."
After her search is finished, she turns and follows the others down the northern hallway.
Thanks to the magical energy running through her fingers, Valana draws, aims, and fires another arrow at the already wounded ratling before it has a chance to react.
Positioning herself near the southern wall of the room, Valana nocks an arrow and takes aim at one of the quickly approaching ratlings.
Shooting at the clearest target.
Did Valana make it back to the room or did these ratlings pass her in the hall? Or come from the entrance in the SW corner from the barricaded room?
Edit: Adding map for everyone

Hearing the approaching voices, Valana turns and moves down the hall as quickly as possible.
Running back to the group, double move action if necessary.
Tunnel leading north on the western wall, is that right?
Where in the room does the tunnel we entered from connect? It was "straight shot to a shrine east of here" from the barricade room, so isn't it on the west wall as well?
If the clock tower in Ptolus is anything like Big Ben, you could make a case for the top of any hour when the bells chime. (The giant mechanical clock and the bells being a representation of Tuen's ingenuity.)
