Well i was thinking a situation in which lets say a fighter has uneven stat in constitution and wants to take it to be even through this feat.

So is the chosen stat save wasted if you already are proficient in it?

Note that adding a proficiency might not help those with proficiency in constitution saves, i think all poisons are against con. I think double proficiency in save does not stack?

This character gets a bit MAD as it requires two different casting stats.

Cool stuff. The concept was indeed great, but i gave up on this because 5e rules of ranger animal companions sort of suck. You also casted raise thread spell.

Id pick wizard with enchanter school. You would be able do that hypnotic gaze thingy in and out of combat

True powergamer would use the shield as mainly as a shield, and would not waste a weapon style on dual wielding. Instead taking defensive one would give yet more ac.

I am not too convinced on the paladin smite spells. Class ability smite seems better, always.

He could multiclass to bard though, but then he would've lost some caster levels in order to get arcane trickster shenanigans. He might get a bit different illusion/enchantment spells as well than normal arcane trickster.
