I run games online and have taken to using Fireworks MX to track placement in battle. It works quite well, really.

One of my favorite games of all time. Requires a bit of hand-eye coordination, but nothing major. Nothing along the lines of Quake. ;) I'd recommend Anachronox too. Excellent RPG, also one of my favorite games ever.

As above, I used to do it once every 6 months until I got XP, and I only ever format when I have a major upgrade, or some kind of severe system failure. Same thing with rebooting, I never reboot this computer anymore unless I have to.

Blood 2 even had a bunch of different hero characters, with stats and everything, so it's certainly a viable option. I would do it using Mutants & Masterminds, myself. It's got more of a super-powered thing to it, I find.

I got bored of it in the swamp levels. Extremely repetitive, and no plot to speak of (they keep hinting that there's a plot, but there's really nothing there). Nice graphics, cool idea with the mule, that's about it, really.
