GMs: What (across all editions) was your favorite adventure to RUN?

Necromancer Games' The Hall of the Rainbow Mage is probably my favourite.

Time between level-ups: always the same or increasing?

I don't use XP in my Pathfinder game anymore. But I do prefer there to be an increasing amount of time between levelling up as characters gain levels.

D&D 4E Poll about your interest in 4e

I do not own any 4E books, though I did read them when they came out. Ultimately it was not to my group and I's liking. Never played it.

Gamescience dice are very much worth it.

Not sure on the accuracy of the vid but quite interesting in regards to Game Science dice. Game Science Part 1 of 2 - YouTube A friend bought me a set of GS dice several years ago and I have to say that I found them horrid to roll. They were not as random as the regular dice that I have.

    Where are the campaign settings?

Thank you Jacob. That hasn't come up on my searchs. That's the odd thing. I've tried both of those in Google to little effect. I wonder if Google also takes into account other things like location and such? Oh well. Thank you as well for your help.

    Where are the campaign settings?

No, it doesn't have to be PF. I was just using that as an example. I should have said D20 I guess. I'd love to know you put in to Google to find those. Whatever I put in nets me nothing but official D&D and PF campaign products. Maybe one or two of the same setting.

    Where are the campaign settings?

Might seem like an odd question but, over the run of 3.X D&D you could search Google and find hundreds of homebrew campaign settings that people had created. I always liked reading them and hunting for ideas. Haven't done that for a while but recently did a look and there are one or two and...

15 questions about your gaming style

Fantasy, sci-fi and horror. Troubleshooting and story. Yes. If the GM sends me a 1 page or 30 page setting document I would appreciate the effort and read the whole thing, and bring it with me to the game. Reading through the wiki entry I would say I'm none of those. Closest would be...

Which D&D edition do you *really* prefer?

    My preferred option is Pathfinder.

List of non-official D&D style worlds

I was looking for the list the other week and couldn't find it. I guess it must have vanished during one of the server leaps or something. :(

Pathfinder 1E World of Golarion going Lovecraft too much?

I love all thing's Lovecraftian but even I find that sometimes it appears too often in non-Lovecraftian games. It kind of spoils it a little. But that just means I use it sparingly if at all.

    I want to tell you something...but I won't.

Agreed. My example was just a case where what the players came up with was better than what I had. :)

    'Lack of Heroism'

I'd recommend sitting them down outside the game and just say that you are not enjoying the game right now and politely explain why. See if you and your players cannot come to so middle ground. It may be that they want a completely different type of game than you are willing to run (you have to...

    I want to tell you something...but I won't.

I've done this. Most recently was a Call of Cthulhu 1920's game centered around the theft of some Egyptian artifacts from a museum in Arkham by a "cult" of Egyptian ghouls. The players somehow managed work out that it was a non-mythos plot and that it was a fraud case by the broke son of the...

Why Games Workshop is not a good business

Games Workshop are not a good business model. They are a business and they need to make a profit to keep in business. No one can argue that. However, yearly price increases when at least here in the UK (not sure about the US) we're in a recession isn't a clever move. They also seriously over...

    Your d20...an inny or outy?

I'm GM 90% of the time and I always roll behind the screen. The only time I don't is for ethereal 50% miss checks and that sort of thing, as I just figure it's fair for the players to see that. As a player I prefer the GM to keep their rolls secret.

If it's that obvious then just tell them.

    I never "got" the Cleric

For me it's the difference between a cleric (as the class) and a lay priest. The cleric is the militant or adventuring priest who is trained to fight and wields magic sent from the divine. The lay priest is the 90% who just serve in temple and probably don't have magic or at least nothing more...

Would you quit a game if....

I'm not an over controlling GM but I do have the opinion that the game is the GMs. He or she is the one that puts the time, blood, sweat, tears and hard earned cash into designing/tweaking the setting, writing the adventures and prepping the game. Players get the enjoyment out of playing. They...

    Player Distractions.
