    D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

Even if you cover up the cleavage, she has exposed ear tips! The scandal! ;) If I was to walk in a big city in the Netherlands during summer, seeing people with cleavage like that isn't exactly rare...

Mongoose Publishing Acquires Dark Conspiracy RPG

I only remember the announcement that they joined the Rebellion, I apparently missed the one where they said they were leaving (in 2010), the Rebellion Wikipedia lists that they acquired Mongoose and Crucible 7, but not that they left (although not under the current active subsidiaries). Thanks...

Mongoose Publishing Acquires Dark Conspiracy RPG

Nice move for Mongoose! But Mongoose has been part of the Rebellion family (Cubicle 7 is in that same family) for around 17 years now, they're turning into an IP company, buying up IPs left and right. MGP has been doing well with the Traveller IP, looks like they are doing well these days as...

How Will The New Tariffs Affect TTRPG Prices?

GW manufactures most of the minis in the UK, occasionally some of the very big plastic kits (terrain) are made in China. Hasbro: Depends on which toys. The Magic cards were manufactured in Belgium, then they moved I think to Cardamundi in Texas. I also read that WotC is actually printing books...

How Will The New Tariffs Affect TTRPG Prices?

Games Workshop (an expensive luxury goods miniatures company) would like to counter that their revenue only went up during economically difficult periods, during the Great Recession (2008) and the pandemic (2020) their revenue only went up. The same was true for Hasbro during those periods...

How Will The New Tariffs Affect TTRPG Prices?

Oh, it could happen... But realize that many people outside of the US are already not happy with the... 'situation', having US companies increase the prices drastically so they can compensate their domestic issues isn't going to fly for many non-US people. That could totally destroy their...

How Will The New Tariffs Affect TTRPG Prices?

That's too low, it needs to be 54%... ;) Probably only in the US and Canada (due to their convoluted supply chain situation for games)... Why would prices rise in the rest of the world? As was indicated by SJ Games, no way are the American pnp RPG companies able to transition anytime soon to US...

How Will The New Tariffs Affect TTRPG Prices?

It's not just local capacity in the US, it's also ability and quality that are affected. When companies start printing in the US instead of China, expect to see some cases of (far) lower quality. About 10-15 years ago some people/companies wanted to start making hig quality (HIPS) plastic...

WotC WotC (Mistakenly) Issues DMCA Takedown Against Baldur's Gate-themed Stardew Valley Mod

Do you produce anything worthwhile I would spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on? I haven't spend that much on WotC products 'recently', I've spent most of it on licensed products, like Wizkids miniatures, Lego lego, computer games and Foundry modules. I own physically the three core books...

WotC WotC (Mistakenly) Issues DMCA Takedown Against Baldur's Gate-themed Stardew Valley Mod

Should we keep a tally of how many dumb mistakes you make per day? Get a ton of people together, they tend to make more dumb mistakes, not less... You only notice the ones making it out of the office and some news starved reporter picks it up...

WotC WotC (Mistakenly) Issues DMCA Takedown Against Baldur's Gate-themed Stardew Valley Mod

How does this happen accidentally? Human error, probably by not understanding what Nexusmods is, just like Morrus... ;) No slight to Morrus! Nexusmods isn't the maker of the mod. Nexusmods is the hoster of the mod, it's a platform for mod makers. A nexus for mods... (Creator of the mod is Xun.)...

RPG Evolution: Hautico Church Houses and Ruins Terrain

PETG is FDM, that means the 3D printing isn't done complete layer by complete layer, but each layer needs to be build by moving the nozzle. That takes time, so such a print may take MANY hours to complete at a reasonably decent quality. But why they printed in PETG instead of PLA is a complete...

    Will AI replace Dungeon Masters?

@Not a Decepticon non-profits, just like regular businesses do their own thing. It's not mine, it's theirs. As long as they do what they want. Heck, depending on how their rules are initially setup, they could make it a non-profit for rich people driving super cars, nothing we can do about it...

    Pathfinder Teases New Runelords Content

    Will AI replace Dungeon Masters?

Say anything, you piss off people. Say nothing, you piss off people. Not the same, not for the same reason, but these days there will always be people that will be pissed off for whatever your stance is or lack thereof. As for sponsors, how do you think non-profits work? How do the people that...

    Will AI replace Dungeon Masters?

That is a misquote you make there: "poor disabled people", there is no such line in the original source. Something similar is mentioned in certain reddits by people also misquoting the original article, but you go a even a step further and remove the word 'or' from the line someone else thought...

    Will AI replace Dungeon Masters?

Not fast enough shouldn't be an issue. Hallucinations are a problem, always! There are some methods to limit that, but they tended to be complex and compute intensive. As relative compute goes down (faster hardware on less heavy LLMs), the people making LLM systems should be able to tackle that...
