I miss the idea of dwarven sub-options but what we had was a weak idea, we need something stronger with a clearer identity. also, the names suck. something like stone dwarves, fire dwarves, sand dwarves, metal dwarves and ice dwarves would sound far cooler and more evocative.

orcs are the tribal guys, dragon born in 4e wanted their old empire back. goliath are insufficiently built for a clear role to appear beyond the strong guys

how are the lizardmen more useful as a core option they basically are happy with nothing ever happening they do not build anything or pursue ambitions they feel like a facultative sophont in comparison to everything else obligate?

the hobbits should not be on the trunk as they are just too limited for most stories by design and the dwarves should grow a second distinct option. the new guys need an example of setting integration.
