🤷🏾 Luckily, subversion of AD&D's (often opaque) intent is the only way I know how to make that game work. Also, those modules are about 60% of what I still used in 3E and now 5E (with Dungeon Magazine adventures making up about 35% of the remainder).

Even back in the day, since we moved away from XP for loot, the first thing I would do for any module I planned to run was to go through and cross out 30-80% of the loot. I love seeing my old pen, pencil, and wite-out marks in my old copies when I re-read or use them now.

I run one in-person game, one online using Zoom and a camera pointed at a table with minis (so the table top is not virtual, but the means of sharing it is digital) with occasional Owlbear Rodeo for exploration mode, and play in one game that is just Owlbear Rodeo.
