I'm pretty sure it's not an OA as that would let him make one attack on each opponents turn, instead it's an immediate interupt. And since you can only make one immediate action per round it's not too bad.

Our group played (I DMd) KotS. The first roleplaying we've done in at least 6 months... We kinda degenerated into videogames after our last 3.5 campaign ended... It was lots of fun, even brought back a friend who hadn't played since 2nd edition, he struggled a bit, he also picked characters...

This has all made me wonder... Maybe someone who knows the publishing business better then I, can answer this. Why do they make stores wait to sell the book if they've already gotten the copies? Wouldn't it be smarter to say as soon as they're out there start selling, start the money rolling?

Conversely, are they going to get rid of short term stat buff's that my happen during combat? Because this might also make it important to know what stats a monster's attack rely on...

Are stat penalties/damage gone in 4th ed? Maybe I missed this but I noticed (after reading the excerpt today) that they don't indicate what stat a monster's attack is based on. Which could be annoying if you can infact cause Stat damage or penalties.

I'm curious on people's thoughts about damage scaling. Specifically I'm thinking about things like magic missile. Do you think they will continue to scale up in damage like it does in 3.5 or do you think a wizard will likely just swap out that power for a higher level, higher damage power? I...
