    D&D 5E (2014) Why does the club do d4?

Yeah, clubs are some of my favorite weapons because wooden swords and other similar weapons are awesome, but clubs doing d4 is a sad turn of events. Is it because it's a simple weapon?

D&D 5E (2014) Two (?) Questions about Elves and Classes

Why make it a feat or a subclass? Why not keep it as something you can learn at any 'time', but it takes time out of your busy, adventuring life. Also, I think the 'best' dreamers is a bit of a subjective thing. But, human's dreams should definitely be the most 'vivid'. It's why the Sandman...

    D&D 5E (2014) Uncanny Dodge (Rogue)

I say let the Rogue go ahead and Matrix everything. There is no spoon.

    D&D 5E (2014) Casting Web on a flying creature

So what I'm gathering from this thread, is that Web is a Troll-spell? Good to know.

    'The Dracula Dossier'

That's true, plus I'd have to learn Malaysian. Or Lumpurian.

    'The Dracula Dossier'

And it's such a cool story to boot! It's a shame though, my group I don't think would appreciate it. And the guy in our group who really enjoys roleplaying and character building like I do, he openly admitted that he's just "not really into spy stuff". Such a shame.

D&D 5E (2014) Create or Destroy Water spell ruling

Not if I stapled my legs to the chair and bribed every single coordinator in your area. We're gonna turn a human being into a container and then destroy the water inside him. I am that says I am!

D&D 5E (2014) Ghouls still not quite right in MM

This is why you have to keep your DMs in line. They control the game world, but the players around the table control the actual world, which can smash repeatedly into his face at any moment.

But at a Disadvantage though, right?

D&D 5E (2014) Create or Destroy Water spell ruling

What if you turn the person's outer body into wood, turn their organs and bones into melting ice, and have him appraised by the container guild as a container?

D&D 5E (2014) Create or Destroy Water spell ruling

What if you then screw in a lock system into the wound, so that it becomes a container?

D&D 5E (2014) Create or Destroy Water spell ruling

What if you stab someone in the gut, then pour water in the wound so it mixed with their blood and stuff?

D&D 5E (2014) Ghouls still not quite right in MM

This reminds me of when I was playing a game with an inexperienced DM. It was 3.5, and I made a Half-Orc Cleric or Bard or something. We were an entire party of standard first level characters, and half of us weren't optimized. The DM threw 14 Ghouls at us, and didn't understand why we got...

D&D 5E (2014) Create or Destroy Water spell ruling

What if you stab someone in the stomach first, and make them open?

    Your unused character ideas?

Ohhh, Black Bolt is great. He can reduce you to rubble with a whisper. Keeping with the comics theme, I've always wanted to make a sort of medieval or Renaissance flavored Batman expy. Black and gray outfit, mask cape and cowl, fights really well up close, tons of throwing knives and maybe some...

Pathfinder 1E How do I treat automatic firearms?

Try looking at the automatic firearms in D20 Modern. Those might help.

    'The Dracula Dossier'

I have mixed feelings about the inclusion of the Nosferatu. On one hand, of course I'm pleased that Count Orlock is involved in the game, and that he's shown as his own thing. But I think I would have done things a bit differently. I'd have it so that Orlock is as old as Dracula, and that every...

D&D 5E (2014) The Wonkiness of Tool Proficiency

Maybe off topic a bit, but this suddenly reminded me of Ocarina of Time, where Link would open up chests by just running up and kicking it right in the lock. It was awesome.

D&D 5E (2014) The Wonkiness of Tool Proficiency

I'm now going to make the Fonz as a Rogue, and just have him whack traps.

GMing for Only 1 Player [+Tips?]

Games for one person, you're able to be a bit more lax with the rules. Wolverine is always way more competent on his own than he is on the X-Men, that's because he doesn't have to worry about overshadowing everyone else with his hundreds of multitudes of skills. Batman could learn a thing or...
