Mortal Kombat 2 - Official 'Uncaged Fury' Teaser Trailer (2025) and Mortal Kombat II | Official Trailer

Well, Karl Urban has short hair, which answers the unasked question as to whether Mortal Kombat is fantasy or sci-fi (it is now officially sci-fi). Incidentally, I am absolutely here for Karl Urban having a blast on screen.

    D&D General Eberron Hexcrawl Help

Yeah, hexcrawls are meant for exploration of frontier territories, which isn't central Khorvaire/anywhere near a lightning rail station, but thankfully Khorvaire is mostly surrounded by uncharted frontier, so you don't even need to leave the continent to have a great hexcrawl. In fact, given the...

Wizards of the Coast Reveals Revised Eberron Species Details

Even moreso than that, it's utilized for plant life, which is even more dehumanizing.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

There's a reason autism has been reclassified as a spectrum rather than a binary disorder one does or does not have. I suspect it won't be the last.

    Spoilers Superman Spoiler Thread

Superman isn't special because he can do what others cannot. It's that he will do what others wouldn't even think of.

    Spoilers Superman Spoiler Thread

I mean... it didn't even for a little bit have the upper hand; Supes had it on the back foot (literally!) the entire time. It is not a huge leap of logic that on a flat plane Superman would beat it senseless pretty damn easily. The point of Superman isn't that he has the biggest punches. The...

    Spoilers Superman Spoiler Thread

Strongly disagree here. The film practically ends with Superman wiping the floor with the dozens of Lex's goons and he isn't even breaking a sweat; the only two he struggles with are explicitly metahumans, one a clone of him piloted by a Street Fighter II world champion and the other designed...

D&D General Weapon Mastery - Yea or Nay?

I like them, although honestly I find the implementation of them a little too restrictive; I'd prefer them to be a bit more flexible. But I can't say I've seen them slow down combat particularly meaningfully.

RPG Buzzwords that have effectively lost their meaning due to poor over-use

Every word has purpose and meaning; what is frustrating and annoying is when a term is overly misused. This is especially true for any negatively-inclined descriptor, which most commonly just become a catch-all for "thing that I dislike".

    General video game discussion

Yeah shockingly I'd say the Switch eShop has been worse in this regard than any other platform I've dealt with, even Steam.

    Spoilers The Pitt on Max

A lot of speculation going around about this, ranging from scheduling conflicts (she was just announced to be cast in a new M. Night Shayamalan movie) to religious issues (she reportedly belongs to an extremely homophobic London megachurch and was unhappy with how the abortion storyline in S1...

And yet you seem to have no problem giving an airborne coitus about a 17-year old edition of D&D. Curious! :p

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

There's few things that are more emphatically human in the modern age, and I don't know anyone who's free of sin. There's a reason I avoid Star Wars threads these days.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

The necessary corollary to just letting people like things is also just letting people not like things. Praise, criticism, even jokes at the expense of a thing does not equate praise, criticism, or jokes at the expense of anyone who agrees/disagrees with your opinion.
