That’s generally how it goes with older, more experienced gamers and these “new fangled” game systems. Decide they’re bad without actually playing them, then when given a chance the games play really well. Congrats on just giving it a try.

It’s the difference between potential and kinetic energy. A game can be potentially deadly and it can be deadly at the table. They’re connected but do not have a guaranteed 1-to-1 relationship. Bad dice luck can turn a “non-deadly” game into a lethal play experience. The reverse is also true...

I'm always so bad at spotting that stuff. I think I'm on someone's ignore list then they react or reply to a post I made. So many things it could be or reasons why. But, really...nothing I can do about it either way, so no need to bother wondering or worrying.

Same. The little guys with no powers, ordinary average Joes, standing up and doing what's right and risking their lives are infinitely more heroic than characters with actual powers. Especially someone with effectively unlimited power like Superman.

I could give you remarkable or incredible as it's definitely beyond typical and good. Power doesn't corrupt so much as it reveals. We can only hope if any of us had that kind of power we'd be half as decent a person as Superman is portrayed in his best stories.
