Eberron: Forge of the Artificer Delayed Until December

Isn't that what happened with the Deck of Many Things? While they released both, the print issues resulted in the digital one being the only one available for months

D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

where does this say anything about the October book? All it says is that the Eberron one is delayed, and that was to be released in a month

Heroes of the Borderlands Starter Set Price Point Revealed

I assume they did, but who knows. In either case it is a strong indication that they did not sell. That Amazon still has some just means they had them in stock already, instead of also ending up at Ollies. If anything it shows that they are not selling that well given that they still have them...

Heroes of the Borderlands Starter Set Price Point Revealed

if you dump loads of them for $2.99 at Ollies, I'd say it does explain things, regardless of whether some of them are available elsewhere for $40. If they didn't massively overproduce inventory / overestimate demand, they would not be dumped at Ollies

A Deep Dive in D&D: Dragon Delves

it gives a basic idea about how the NPC should behave, more would be better, but not even having that… that is not an excuse, they are all published by WotC and they should have some quality control steps that ensure things are written in a certain way. It’s not like all spells / monsters are...

I thought it is basically the OGL but with less wiggle room when it comes to what has to be open (for licensees). What makes it a lot less attractive to you?

Draw Steel: Fake variety helps no one

some other poster said the 2 vs 1d3 is the order vs chaos classes or something like that and that it has a generic metacurrency name, but also a individual / thematic one per class. So these are not really vestiges they forgot about but deliberate design decisions - doesn’t mean you have to...

A Deep Dive in D&D: Dragon Delves

it would not hurt to have more to go on than alignment for ‘major’ NPCs, whether BFIT and or by some other approach. In no way does this mean not even having alignment is ok however that maybe would be true if 20% or so had an alignment and it were missing from the others, but when none do…

D&D General Did 5e 2024 Not meet the economic goals set, and if not, why not?

D&D General Did 5e 2024 Not meet the economic goals set, and if not, why not?

I would not expect them to fabricate higher numbers, but I certainly would expect them to put a positive spin on the actual numbers (and not mention the actual numbers, only relative ones, just like they keep on doing...)

A Deep Dive in D&D: Dragon Delves

if some tables use them, they are not that optional. It is easier to ignore the provided alignment than for the DM to come up with the ‘correct’ alignment for the adventure bastions are a different level of optional than alignments. You encounter NPCs in every adventure, bastions however do not...

A Deep Dive in D&D: Dragon Delves

are you designing them for WotC / to publish them? If some tables use it and some do not, published adventures should have alignments. Tables that do not use them can ignore them

D&D General Did 5e 2024 Not meet the economic goals set, and if not, why not?

we have no proof either way, that does not mean the default assumption is that it did unless we have proof to the contrary however. There is no default assumption
