New Unearthed Arcana Released, With 8 New Forgotten Realms-Themed Subclasses

Bingo bingo. And with the setup of the Inner Planes as a Setting in the DMG...that could cover a lot of this ground.

New Unearthed Arcana Released, With 8 New Forgotten Realms-Themed Subclasses

See, listed out like that, I see fodder for a bunch of similar Setting booster books more than a reason to expect another Everything book. Some of this are probsvly gone forever (doubt a "Samurai" is coming, ever), and others seem well fit for certain themes.

D&D 5E (2024) OAR 10 City State of the Invincible Overlord

I think the discussion serves a good public service. Might be worth @Morrus taking a look at the situation for the front page, frankly.

D&D 5E (2024) OAR 10 City State of the Invincible Overlord

Unfortunately, after this update from Goodman Games, it seems that they have calculated that they won't financially suffer from working with the JG folks...which means that their objections at the time of the big eruption ring a bit hollow in retrospect. I shall not be buying anything further...

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

It is important to note that for trademark...DMsGuild sales count as being "in print" legally, so WotC doesn't need to worry about any classic D&D trademarks.

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

To be fair, Eberron and Ravenloft options are kind of obvious from outer space lol.

New Unearthed Arcana Released, With 8 New Forgotten Realms-Themed Subclasses

Actually, after this round of UA...I tend to doubt they will do another Everything book, ir if instead we will see another batch of thematic Setting booster books that add various options as part of a package.

D&D Eberron: Race for the Crab Temple Coming to PAX East

Not really sure how Art Noveau clashes with Eberron: seems more appropos than Aughts Dungeonpunk, honestly.

D&D Eberron: Race for the Crab Temple Coming to PAX East

One of the few things we know ow about the book,l is thst it includes several Neo-DMG style Campaign outlines and minimalistic Adventures...and one of those campaign outlines is Morgrave University researchers. So, dollars to donuts this is based on something in the book.

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

The closest we have seen for UA is September for a November print release, with Ravnica: there is plenty of time here.

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

They don't need to update it, it still works and sells.

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

That wasn't them being "insincre", only 1 of the 3 Subclasses passed through UA. They would have been willing to put all 3 in, as they intended to do with the Mystic and Artificer for Xanathar's back in the day...

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

May to October us about right for UA: same month period as the Eberron tests.

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

I think an Undead/Shadowfell Fizban-style book would be pretty awesome.

In retrospect, there may have been red flags.

If the past decade has taught me anything, it is how to emotionally prepare for disappointment from those I trusted.

D&D General The First Demise of TSR: Gygax's Folly

I believe that they really did want to get Gygax today on in a non-management role.

D&D General When We Were Wizards: Review of the Completed Podcast!

To be honest, even now I don't think it is obvious that it couldn't have worked at the time, if done the right way.
