I couldn't see a connection when I glanced over the wiki about this setting. It is an island divided up between the Knorr barbarians and Charonti necromancers. Can you please tell me a little more about the setting and how it would be suitable?

I've got some Scarred Lands 3E books. The setting is too normal, I think. It had a bit of a shake up 150 or so years ago but now goes about its business almost as a normal fantasy setting.

Oh, good. I wasn't sure how baked in it was. I would just want those ancestries to face Decay like any other creature on the world.

I don't mind the magic and decay relationship in Broken Weave but the four races being tied to the elements (Dwarves are linked to fire, Elves to earth, Halflings to water, and Humans to wind) somehow seems a bit goofy for me.

I like them better than the US version. And some art pieces have been especially made for this set. When is the last time Wayne Reynold's art featured in a D&D book?

It just hit $2mil. Apparently, a GM's Guide and Monster Manual is also coming out in later kickstarters to make up the holy trinity. I'd rather wait for all 3 core books to drop before investing in it.
