I agree that favored class (any) is a bit too much. Considering the harsh environment and all... I would have them favor the ranger class. Possibly give them a choice between Ranger & Sorcerer.

Looking kewl now! Hey, I do have one quick suggestion.... On the breath weapons make the DCs 10 + 1/2 HD + Con modifier. That is the normal formula for determining the DCs for breathweapons...
