I think he had a lot more generally than spot art. I would count Trampier comic art like Wormy. I was thinking more excluding the DC comic art,etc - ie the comic books. I'm thinking just pure game art.

Yes. This is my belief. Add to all the D&D stuff is the vast number of other games he worked on from Paranoia, Battletech, Chill, DCC, etc and I think he is the workhorse of RPG art. I'm definitely not including comic art or 3d sculpts, lol.

Yeah it was J. Johnson's Appendix N book. He's the BrOSR loon. The other one was by Bebergal which I first heard about on Vintage RPG.

I was about to order an Appendix N book but I googled the author first, which I tend to do first and saw him mentioned in a Twitter feed I follow. That took me down a rabbit hole which I only gleaned a bit from, but enough to make me not order the book.

Explain to me exactly what BrOSR is. I've seen it in a couple places and have gathered it's basically obnoxious.
