    Epic Oozemaster

I have to second the call for a condensation of all this oozzy goodness. I am planning a few underdark excursions for the soon-to-be epic level campaign I am running.... an Oozemaster would fit right in...

    Sneak Attacks on Rays

But it's not... and it isnt... And I believe that even if you were under some sort of curse that permanently inflicted an enhancement penalty on you, that it could be removed in the same manner as Bestow Curse. It would also cease to affect you in an anti-magic area, just as an enhancment...

    Sneak Attacks on Rays

Ability damage lasts until the victim until healed (through rest or magic); ability damage represents actual, physical damage to the target. An enhancement penalty on the other hand only persists for the duration of the spell and is subject to being dispelled; an enhancement penalty inflicts...

    Targeting spells & concealment

The opposing wizard *would* have to pick the caster out of the images in order to have a chance of bringing all the spells down with one Dispel Magic. Otherwise, he will just be targeting the Mirror Image spell (and I do agree with KD, it should only take one Dispel to bring down all the images).

Summon Monster spells underpowered for elementals?

Yeah... but with your rules implemented Extend Spell is usually going to be about as effective.

Summon Monster spells underpowered for elementals?

Glad you concur with my ideas :) 1 hour per level seems like too much... 1 hour +10 minutes per level perhaps?

    What is canon?

I consider the Core Books, Splatbooks, Capbooks (ELH, D&Dg, etc..) and Eratta sheets to be canon... and FAQ supplements those with clarifications.

    Sneak Attacks on Rays

Calling attention to a lack of skills is one thing... telling him that he is unfit to DM is another. He may have other qualities that make it worthwhile to play in his campaign... judging by his respones thus far I'm not sure what those qualities might be... but I am sure that they are there ;) :p

Ability damage/energy drain and Sneak Attacks

Re: Re: Re: Ability damage/energy drain and Sneak Attacks Not really. Ray of Enfeeblement imposes an Enhancement penalty to the victim's Strength for the duration of the spell. It inflicts no damage of any sort, and thus cannot be used as a sneak attack.

    Targeting spells & concealment

Ya see, I was just posting too quickly for my own good... sorrrrrrry!!! :p I have noted elsewhere that spells such as magic missile (a target spell) require you to be able to see your opponent. My point about ranged touch type spells following the normal rules for attacking invisible opponents...

Ability damage/energy drain and Sneak Attacks

1.) The SA damage = the element. 2. + 3.) No. If it does level drain or ability damage it inflicts the SA dice as negative energy damage. 4.) The enhancement penalty from Ray of Enfeeblement persists for the spells duration; and no, it doesnt get SA damage because it's effect is not defined...

    Targeting spells & concealment

If you cant see an opponent, you cant target them with Magic Missile, since it requires you to be able to actually see the opponent... on a ranged touch however, you would use the normal rules for attacking an invisible opponent (guess the square/50% miss chance).

    Targeting spells & concealment

Indeed he does suffer the 20% miss chance, since more than line-of-sight is required to target.

    Sneak Attacks on Rays

Often, there is a VERY fine line between personal attacks and harsh comments... and it would seem that everyone has a different definition of where that line is drawn...
