What's wrong with it? I could see it in real life - the baby born on the island and rescued back to civilization? That's big news - happy news in the midst of the tragedy of 319 deaths. There's no way he wouldn't be included.
Your lack of satisfaction puzzles me.
True, but we have an absolute time reference of December 24th, the day that Desmond talks to Penny - that's 3 months (give or take) from when Flight 815 went down.
Also, Michael's mother mentioned that they'd been gone for 2 months.
Not Yet. ;)
So, who planted the fake plane? Widmore or Ben?
Hrm.
I was surprised to see Sayid out Michael, but for me it's been 2 years since he killed Ana Lucia and Libby, but for the Losties it was just a few weeks ago.
One thing bugs me: how long was Michael off of the island? By my...
I think that the flashforwards are different times in the future. Sun's was 7-ish months after tonight's episode, but when was Hurley's? When was he locked up in the sanitarium? It could be anytime.
Same for Jack's flash-forward.
Same for Sayid's.
Kate's is locked in by Aaron's age.
Great episode. Sun and Jin have great chemistry.
Combining the flashback and the flashforward was highly effective, combined with the very end it was very powerful.
Poor Jin.
There was an on-line video in the past few months featuring the scientist guy who is in all of the Dharma films, with a rabbit with a number on it.
Suddenly another rabbit appears, with the same number. The scientician shouts that they can't touch each other and the video ends - implying...
OK, not bad. Weakest episode of the season.
I didn't realize who Goodwin was until the plane crashed, and it looks more and more like Michael is the secret person on the boat.
Ultimately, Minkowski's job was to direct them to the communications room and die as an example of what's going to happen to Desmond. Besides that, I agree that Desmond wasn't mentally whole enough to help Minkowski - who knows...maybe Desmond panicked - maybe Desmond would die if he stopped to...
That's it - General Ross. William Hurt (playing Ross) describes the scene as funky - there are rumors that the same scene will be in both movies, or maybe both movies from different points of view, or something like that.
A quick search of IMDB shows that Tony Stark shows up in Incredible Hulk.
I remember hearing that a military character in Hulk shows up briefly in Iron Man, but can't find that right now.
