I use cultural/social backgrounds in my campaigns. You get 5 + Int Mod worth of skills that are appropriate (such as animal handling and profession for a farmer) as well as access to a block of cultural knowledges (usually religion, local area, politics and history). It seems to work pretty well.

My own worlds, almost always. Especially if using D&D as the rules set. Most recently two low-magic, quasi-historical campaigns. One ongoing high magic campaign. And I am currently working on part of a shared world campaign.

Agreed, if you are in a situation where you really need the extra damage and are willing to take the AC penalty. Go for it. Especially good for breaking down doors, unless somebody is waiting on the other side of course . . .

Nice, it works well as a feat. You might want to note that in some campaign worlds, halflings could take this feat as well.

It just strikes me that certain form of kinks (leather, fur, whatever) should be more common than others. Perhaps the table could be broken down into a common and unusual table for kinks? I mean, how many people even know about pseudo-natural beings anyway . . . Just my thoughts.
