Reaper Bones 3: Nearly $400K In 2 Hours!

I had heard about some issues like that from Bones I, but I thought it had been corrected in Bones 2. My Bones 2 came out fine. Anyway, if you end up with a mini that's been miscast, you should probably contact Reaper customer support. They're the best I have seen in a company.

Reaper Bones 3: Nearly $400K In 2 Hours!

I'm in for the core set. I love the Bones minis.

D&D 5E (2014) [Princes of the Apocolypse] Random Encounters way to hard?

In fact, at least for the air and water cultists, you can go right in and talk to them, and have rather positive interactions with them, at least at first. It's possible but harder with the earth cultists too. So, if the cultists are not yet familiar with the PCs and see them as possible...

D&D 5E (2014) Unhappy with Psionics requiring Far Realms flavor

The good news (I assume) is that they'll release a survey on this, and everyone and their brother can express their opinion on whether they want "Far Realms" hard-coded into the psionics class or would rather see a paragraph with a variety of possibilities and mentioning the classic Dark Sun...

D&D 5E (2014) Unhappy with Psionics requiring Far Realms flavor

The biggest problem I have with this is that it's meaningless to people who are new to the game. As with many things in 5e, it assumes you have some familiarity with the history of D&D. People new to the game won't. Far Realms? Just a couple of words. See also: creating four adventure paths in...

Unearthed Arcana Psionics Hits Unearthed Arcana

    This is a cool feature.

D&D 5E (2014) What would be your ideal 5E yearly product output?

I'm curious, did you play through it or is this based on a read or reading reviews? I've owned them since they came out, but never got around to them since we made our way slowly through Lost Mines and finished just after PotA came out, so that became the obvious next choice. And I agree with...

New D&D Survey: What Do you Want From Older Editions?

This is my biggest complaint about 5e. I knew the designers were just being lazy when I saw there were no rules for slipping on turtles. How can they consider the game to be complete? I mean, no rules for stubbing your toe on an aardvark I get --- that's just extraneous. But slipping on...

PRINCES OF THE APOCALYPSE For Fantasy Grounds VTT

I too am thinking about this.

New D&D Survey: What Do you Want From Older Editions?

There must be something like a "5 Page Rule" that states every thread on an rpg forum with 5 pages or more has hopelessly devolved into tangential arguments. Never open a thread of 10 pages or more unless you want to wade into an ongoing battle where the weapons are opinions wielded as if they...

New D&D Survey: What Do you Want From Older Editions?

And they love to toss about the phrase "lazy game design" as if it has any meaning... maybe occasionally the complaint is valid, when justified with precise arguments, but it almost always means "it's not my style, and I want to be really arrogant in expressing that"

New D&D Survey: What Do you Want From Older Editions?

Man after reading so much about machinations that people seem to go through to "prevent abuse", I feel bad that so many groups can't just figure out how to sit down and have fun together.

Out of the Abyss: Longer Description and pre-order price reduction

While Princes of the Apocalypse does have a lot of overland; it does essentially have a very large underground dungeon, as (for the most part) all the key dungeons are connected. It's not presented that way, but it could easily be run that way.

Out of the Abyss: Longer Description and pre-order price reduction

It wasn't clear to to me which one you meant, and I figured both storylines were worth discussing, so I thought I'd add my two cents; that's all. :-)

New D&D Survey: What Do you Want From Older Editions?

To you, D&D is something very different from what it is to me. Everything you've said is irrelevant to my game and sounds boring as hell to me. Fighters rock. They're a ton of fun. What the hell game are you even playing? It's alien to me.

Out of the Abyss: Longer Description and pre-order price reduction

Me too! I think Rise of Tiamat is technically the sequel to Hoard of the Dragon Queen, whereas Princes of the Apocalypse is a separate product. If this is at least half as good as PotA, it will be great, because PotA is really outstanding overall, I think.

New D&D Survey: What Do you Want From Older Editions?

I'm fine with them introducing a new warlord class if warlord players feel (as some clearly do) that the battlemaster does not properly replace the 4e class. But people shouldn't take their anger out on the fighter; it's a good class with fun subclasses.
