This kind of bummed me out at first glance. I mean, It's totally cool we get some new Warlock pacts... Dragon Pact and Chaos Pact, right? I think they dropped the ball with this one. Actual play will show how different the Sorc vs Warlock are, but I imagine one will end up being the clearer...

I talked about this on the wizards forums about a week ago. Very good work there! I'd love to see it tied to a database w/ php eventually as adventures start scaling. No reason why wizards can't index all of them w/ monsters, settings, levels, magical items, etc. with some great searches to zero...

Lackey Minion could work with most of the power sources pretty easily - I imagine an Elemental guy with summoned elementals to be another fun lacky-type-class. Martial gets a bit rougher...but you could always reflavor it so that minion one-hit-deaths aren't actually deaths but knock them out...

Neat! All kinds of new goodies, and it isn't just kept to one kind. Definitely give this article a thumbs up and being unfamiliar with the tomb of horrors directly (just what i've read third hand) I wasn't expecting to be too impressed. This is a nice corollary to the genasi/warforged article!

After those videos I took a look to purchase some... sure was great at selling them to people like me. I saw some prices and figure I'll hold off since my in-person games wont start for who knows... all online at the moment.

I like warforged, I love genasi. I thought this article would be a big hit this month, but it wasn't. Looking back I think what might've tipped it over would've been some monster statblocks with some specific flavor. Maybe some warforged from a particular LFR region or some evil genasi cleric...

I started thinking about it, a sorcerer could also fill a striker or even defender (mage armor?) role as an implementless caster. Yeah, maybe not the aoe and traditional spells of a typical wizard, but the ability to do burning hands like stuff up close seems reasonable. Just reaching there...

Here's hoping LightPhoenix is right and they just haven't picked. For that matter, I certainly hope Psionics don't keep the name power for their powers. I wonder what they'd use, though.

Update, I used these rules for a fun bar fight to begin the campaign. The players ended up deciding against spending too much time doing the business end, giving it off to an NPC to fund a revolution. The drinking stuff was pretty neat, I imagine I'll use it again later in the campaign =)

I think the most exciting would be a shapeshift class. As much as I'm enjoying the current weapon based classes, I'd love to see some kind of new mechanic to make this class something more than another Fighter build.

If I guessed the Invoker's original name was Theurge (the t) and the Avenger's original name was Inquisitor (the i). I could be wrong though!
