She does individual voices for all the characters making them so distinct from each other and in combination with the writing really brings the whole story to life. It's really like a 10 hour long radio play. I'll also say the story is far, FAR darker then the happy go lucky cover indicates...

My guess is it takes spell slots, but perhaps there is a feat that allows one to offer life force, in the form of hit dice instead. Just a guess.

That was because outside of Strixhaven itself, there was very little Setting to Arcavios, hopefully that changes next year when the next Strixhaven/Arcavios set comes out.

I wonder if this new Changeling will be monstrosities like Doppelgangers, or Fey like the MotM, or still humaniod? Eberron & FR lore have Changelings as Human Doppelganger hybrids, but MotM made them a kind of fey in a nod to folklore instead of D&D lore.

Ironically FR does have steam technology and clockwork technology, in limited amounts, but it's always Eberron, even FR that gets pegged as the steam punk setting.

None of the subclasses fit Lorwyn/Shadowmoor at all. Yes Shadowmoor is a darker place, but it's still more akin to the darker Unseelie parts of the Feywild that the Undead/Frankenstein themed areas of thr Shadowfell/Ravenloft.

Several of the Subclasses aren't undeath focused. The Ranger for example is more based on Cryptid Horror. Nothing undead about this version of Hexblade either.
