I have based NPC's on actors and occasionally based on someone I know. I always change the names though.

3.5 is my favorite to play but the Red Box set is a close second.

Palace of the Silver Princess by far. I have run that module a dozen times. The first module of the slavers series and the first of the giant series are a very close second.

We always have at least 1 person who keeps track of everything we don't divide up as soon as we find it. Sometimes they are pretty busy helping everyone remember what they have ;)

We usually just drop them but I forgot they would be unattended for AoE spells :( Need to remember that.

Aaaargh ! I want to get some more soon. Say it isn't so. Good NPC and PC creation and tracking software which also lets me print up buff cards, letters of mark, wanted posters, easy to read stat blocks, etc. Something to make the DM job easier while adding something to the game.

Turn Undead - Heck we don't use it anymore we just fight or run. Grapple - Talk about a combat momentum killer. HP - You can have a thousand Hit Points but your not hurt till you lose your last one ? Swallow Whole - Gut a creature and not hurt it ? Puhleeze.

Oooo, I like the Gorgon but I didn't see the rarity for it, anyone know it ? FranktheDM: Yeah I see that also. The sculpt of it is fine but why is this one rare also? They do a revisit because it is so popular and hard to get but make it a rare again so it will share the same fate? I don't get it.

I use a module as a base to build off of. I make many changes to fit what it is I am trying to get. I have not run an "as is" module since 1E days.

Hmm, could be an interesting fight. Haley is (most likely) weaponless. Maybe Thog won't be able to fight Not Nale since he helped him escape the jail.

Pretty much sums it up for me. I don't go outta my way to put the PCs in a "you are going to die" situation but only because a death is a lot of hassle for the DM.

Wow, I hope that was a one-time brain blip by the DM. Of course you handled it by the hilt before. I second (third?) the call to show the DM with a real life demonstration.

I display one of each mini on my bookshelves sorted by one group or another. Most of the other duplicates are stored by type in one of several storage bins. After that the rest are just tossed in a plastic tub.

The Gates of Hell by Keith Baker. My own personal Heroscape dice. 4 Blood War boosters (Two Vlakiiths and two Pit Fiends). Santa got the boys lots of Heroscape stuff.

Elan put up a good fight for a while though.
