Can I at least have some of the beer (after Sunday, I gave up drinking for Lent)?

    Classic D&D...

My groups were mostly 2e D&D. We played OD&D for a long time before that, but when 2e came out, that's what we played. When 3e came out, I saw just as many humans as I did in OD&D. With an extra feat and skill point, IMHO they're the most powerful race, and many players go for that.

Quentin Tarantino is a crazy man!

Funny that you mention the geek thing. He started laughing so hard at one point, and it was one of those really geeky laughs that was right outta a "Revenge of the Nerds" movie. He had to suck up his saliva at the end of the laugh.

What do you think of the Duskblade?

I totally agree, but many would argue that the F/M (even in 2e when they couldn't wear most armors) was too powerful.

What do you think of the Duskblade?

Having never actually seen one in play, it seems too powerful to me. My instinct is to think that my observations are incorrect though (since I haven't actually seen one played). It reminds me a lot of the Elf class in OD&D.

    Aquiring new feats

Doesn't the "Feat Every Level" rule make Fighters suck?

holy crap, how did I miss that? Vigwyn, do you want more submissions? Do you want to go over the 4 players you asked for in the initial post?

Quentin Tarantino is a crazy man!

This guy was just on the Opie and Anthony radio show, talking about that new movie of his, Grindhouse. I had never heard a live interview of the guy, as the "extras" on DVDs and interviews on television are all edited. This guy rambles, has very scattered thoughts, and doesn't really listen...

    Aquiring new feats

Do you just get to pick a new feat when the time comes, or does it require any special training? Does it need to "make sense" or can any feat be chosen. I ask because I thought it would be alright to just choose a feat, as long as it reasonably made sense. But one time I was in a pbem game...

    How do you handle multiclassing?

Do players need "special training" to add a new class? Can they just add a new class when they level-up? Or does it need to at least "make sense"? Just curious.

    New Character ideas

How about a Monk or (insert warrior type)/Rogue? IMO, nothing is cooler than a warrior who can evade!

Seonaid: You don't need to change things every day, but you might do a little better if you do. BTW, everybody check their teams. Many of you are playing DL'ed players. I also sent out a few trade proposals.

    Any online D&D character creators?

I'd like to create a few characters for use in pbp games here on the site. It would make things a whole lot easier if I could do this from this computer (at work, when on breaks), where I can't really have any books with me. TIA

Sounds cool! Looks like the Cleric is always the last one to be picked, and I'd like to play one. What "world" is the game set in so I can pick a deity? TIA EDIT: I'd probably play some dwarven racial deity or maybe a sun god type to mix it up. Possibly a strength god. I dunno, these...

    ADnD Homebrew world

My main point here is that in 2e, the classes are not balanced, as they're meant to be in 3e. For example, a Wizard is more powerful than a Thief. That's why a Thief can advance in levels a lot faster. If you say to start at 3rd level, and I want to play an Elf Fighter/Mage/Thief, than I'd...
