Hong, according to what I read in the restoration(any) spell, you get ALL levels lost back if within the time period allowed. Now to answer your question, um er hmmmm.......it doesnt say. I would think that if that happened in my campaign then I would say that since you regain those levels...

One more thing, if I am a spell caster I would let the DM know that unless I say otherwise I AM casting defensivley(sic) any time i am in combat. Matter of fact in RPGA tournys I made a sign up that said that so in case I forgot to say it before the game.

To put it simply (your quote not mine) it does not say seperate attacks cause seperate rolls. It just says ANY damage taken during the casting of the spell. Of course you can play with the rules the way you see fit, but sometimes it isnt so simple as it looks. :)

The dead goblin makes no noise but a live one does (they have to breathe unless they hold there breath) what if it is cold and you see steam coming from behind the door like as in breath? I agree that you CANT know what is behind the door but you can detremine that something is behind the door.

I believe (until I see the answer stated clearly in a errata) that ALL damage you take in that round your are casting (unless full round spell) is considered for taking damage to make the Concentration check. Which means total damge and make check. Again, that is what I interpret from the rules...

I have to agree with EOL and you were dealt a harsh blow! You do lose last 2 levels you gained and all hit points,abilities, and feats, as well as skills ouch! I see no reason why you cant take a level of wizard. Dieing now is brutal!

I may get flamedfor this but if I remember you have to be 3rd to make +1 weapon or armor(and of course craft arms and armor feat) and it increases every 3 levels. EG. 3rd=+1, 6th=+2, 9th=+3, etc. Also you can get the feat without being aracane/divine too but you would need the help of someone...

Magic missle is just that..a MAGIC missle. It will do damage unless you have SR, but since trolls dont then it does damage. Also it is not fire or acid so the troll can regenerate the damage.
