I didn't think so either, but a large portion of the community is under that impression. Honestly, I think that is what the Monster Vault is for. New incarnations of old creatures with the new math, so really its the best of both worlds for everyone.

I see that a lot of the new D&D books are labeled as Trade Paperbacks. Does this just mean softcover or is the books physical dimension different (Star Wars Saga books as an example)?

Totally disagree on this point. Temporary HP rules as is would be the generic rule. Redesigning martial healing to provide stackable healing would be an example of a specific rule that trumps the generic rule. As an Additional concept, its not too hard to imiagine any remaining temp HPs at...

I like the nod to the schools of magic again, I really felt like that needed to be added back into the game. However, I hope that wizard schools play more of a role than what is seen in the preview.
