    Dragon magazine - international subscribers?

Well, I got a response from the international subscription team: "It will take six to eight weeks to receive the first issue. Every issue after that one will arrive the same time as U.S" Must say I'm very impressed that this is the case...

    d20 CoC--a preview of 4th Edition D&D?

Yeah. My pet game, Rolemaster, has classes and is quite skill based. Actually when I read through 3e it seems to be taking a few small steps to being somewhat like a d20 Rolemaster in some ways. I would've liked it to have gone a little further though by having combat skills as part of the...

Dwarven Women: Beards or no Beards?

Beards of course. Dwarven women without beards would be well weird...like Halflings without hairy feet.

    Dragon magazine - international subscribers?

I've been thinking about subscribing to Dragon but I'm wondering how long issues are likely to take to get to me (I get them now 2-3 weeks after they're available in the US) down here in Australia; and also how long would the first issue take (so I dont get caught with 2 copies of a certain...

    Sherlock Holmes?

Cool. Thanks for the ideas. I think I'm swinging the way of a Rogue/Psion to bring about a super-naturally powered Holmes-like character. Perhaps even the Watch Detective PRC.

Quintessential Splatbooks vs the Wizards Class Books

Re: Where did the term "splatbook" come from, anyway? Hmmm...Sword & Fist actually turned me right off the splat books alltogether for a long time. Getting a look at Masters of the Wild did make me relent though. I really like this book...although I would've liked it to be thicker like the...

    Sherlock Holmes?

I've been wondering, how you'd generate a Sherlock Holmes as a 3e character. Imagine if you will a Sherlock Holmes like character in your typical D&D world. Some kind of multiclassed rogue I would assume.

My review of the Scarred Lands Gazetter: Termana

Thanks. Centaur Plains...cool. Actually, just looking at that cover image really reassures me that Termana will be every bit as cool as Ghelspad.

My review of the Scarred Lands Gazetter: Termana

Tell me about it. And I'm even selective about what gaming material I buy these days. Of course I'm having the same troubles with my other hobbies...PC gaming; Home Theatre/DVD and comics.

My review of the Scarred Lands Gazetter: Termana

So, whats the map like? is it in the same style and detail level as the Ghelspad Gazetteer map?

    Druids

Not at all I'd say. Its probably more like various bits of folklore and the later recreation (19th C). Everything we know about 'real' druids comes via the writings of Romans which is hardly unbiased.
